Boys books.
Derived From Web , May 22, 2022
Wanted to read some books with Christian character values with my boys. The boys love them, but when I read them, some lines come across as cheesy. I can 't imagine how to write a book, however, teaching these values to children without adults, thinking that some parts are cheesy or sneakily preachy. These are book boys anyway. They kill bears and are rough boys, so if you don 't like playing with swords or toy guns or slingshots, you might not want to purchase them. But if you're looking for a book by a boy that does have morals in it, these books will keep the attention of young boys and they'll ask you to read the next book in the series.

A Timeless Classic
Derived From Web , May 22, 2022
The Sugar Creek Gang is set in a timeless era, but its lessons are bygone. While the stories focus mostly on the lives of boys, girls will enjoy the adventuresome spirit in everyone. The emphasis is on Christian faith, morality is high, the plots are easy to follow and the lessons for life are just as relevant today as when the books were written. We bought them for our grandchildren and love them.

Wonderful series that I have loved since I was a kid
Derived From Web , Nov 29, 2020
I loved these books as a kid, so when I found out that my grandmother had given away our original set, I decided to track them down. Today I received the first six and am very pleased. Immediately I started rereading them... I love them even as an adult and would recommend them to anyone with young children! It is nice to have books like these that are clean and moral in a world like we have now.

Provides a model for Christian boys
Derived From Web , Jul 20, 2020
We only read two, but my 6 year old son loves them! They share an idealistic, but not corny Christian walk. A good model for real life Christianity, true male friendship and adventure.

My children loved the movies and I thought they would like these too. These are great for additional readers, it keeps my boys, who hate reading, interested enough to keep reading. In my book, a win is so.
