Perfect for Fighting Summer Slide!
Derived From Web , Apr 27, 2021
I made sure to get the Summer Brain Quest workbook for the upcoming summer because my son loved it when he was in 2nd and 3rd grade. He wants to do it everyday, but the activities are short enough to keep him busy. He wants to earn all the stickers and complete his map. He looks forward to the outside quest. He usually does more because he finds it fun and rewarding.

A great way to stimulate kids for summer learning
Derived From Web , Sep 11, 2020
The kids like the map. They are given incentives to complete the book. It's appropriate for the grade level. Extra help is given to new areas by the brain box area. I wish they had these for older kids.

Great book for a kid who loves to learn
Derived From Web , Sep 7, 2020
I like this book, but I had to help my daughter with it because she didn't know a lot about history and the directions were very confusing. I had to be a teacher and work with her on it instead of letting her do it on her own. She liked the sticker rewards, but the fact that there were two different paths to take in the book was confusing. I think it's a great book, but it was a little more challenging than my daughter would have liked, so I think it's a better book for the school year. May was better if we were on a long car ride rather than sitting at the table to work on it.

Summer workbook that's fun to complete!

My son enjoys working on the summer workbooks. He likes to go through the map at the back. The only downfall is that the math pages are too easy.

Just a heads up...
Derived From Web , Jul 16, 2020
We have used these books for a long time. There are several pages where my daughter has not yet learned the concepts, which is the reason I am giving this one only 3 stars. I have had to teach her how to use a tube. Since the pre-k book, it has always been spot on for what she has learned the previous year. I don't understand what they're asking my daughter. I don't know this. Bridge books help keep skills sharp and have always reinforced things taught to me. It's never been discouraged. Being a glass half full person, we have learned some new concepts that will probably be introduced next year and she will feel ready and hopefully say, "oh, I've learned about this before!"

Another fantastic summer brain quest
Derived From Web , May 17, 2020
For the last 3 years, we've been buying these and our daughter loves them. Depending on your child's math and reading level, they have a fair bit of challenge. The contents were a great review and challenge to keep her going and not lose too much over the summers.

Buy it!!

During the summer, my daughter read the whole book. It was difficult to allow her to learn on her own while reviewing her past lessons. A must. ?
