I love this brands books

I've had a lot of books signed by Hachette. There are structured activities for the summer, lots of activities, he said. My son's teacher first recommended it to me, and I absolutely love it.

Great pre kindergarten book
Derived From Web , Sep 5, 2020
This book was great for a quarantined kid without a daycare. It was fairly self explanatory, even for a kid that small. May need some help at first reading directions and then each activity is similar so could figure out on their own, he said. 3-4 pages of work per day to do on writing, coloring, shapes, letters and counting. He helped train his friends to keep on learning in between school and kindergarten.

Excellent Tool for kids preparing for Kindergarten
Derived From Web , Aug 4, 2020
I bought this book for my daughter who just graduated from preschool and will be starting Kindergarten in August. This was a great educational tool to prevent learning loss during the summer, he said. The book is designed for the child to complete two pages of activities and should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Activities include number recognition, counting, letter recognition, writing, phonics shapes, opposites and some science activities. It was mostly a matter of her being willing to do the activities that she sometimes would be able to do for more than two hours a day. In the end of the book, Bridges introduced some Kindergarten concepts which provided insight as to what my daughter will be learning this fall and also preparing her for those lessons.

Good workbook, but too easy for my kid
Derived From Web , Jul 10, 2020
Good workbook content varies and is often well-suited to students who need more help with transitions. Although my son cannot read, he understood how to complete each one of the worksheets provided by the teacher, so he could complete some areas without supervision. He finished the workbook quite quickly, so I didn't notice it was not challenging enough and needed to seek other workbooks. The next time I go to buy a car, I should have purchased the next grade up. He completed it in 2.5 weeks, doing it alone or in groups.

Favorite workbook for kids
Derived From Web , Apr 1, 2020
I've used summer bridges and Contessa's is my favorite. I usually have them from Lakeshore Learning store, but getting them through Amazon was cheaper and I didn't have to leave my house event better. The more you get into the book, the more you start to see things your son would be leaving in kindergarten. The whole point of the summer bridges books is to try and bridge the gap between the past and the present.

Right on topic for age!
Derived From Web , Aug 28, 2019
Great product, said Dr. Brian Belcher, director of product management at InterActiveCorp. When I went to buy the activity books, I found that the instructions were not properly covering my child's material. These are right in line with their age group, they loved the stickers and certificate, Ms. Caramore said. The book is 3 months long but my kids completed it in two months because we had vacation. Overall I feel like they started strong this year after doing these books, McBride said.

I'm not as impressed with it as others were. ...
Derived From Web , Jul 28, 2018
I'm not impressed with it. For example, on page 20 where there is a key to color certain shapes, the color is written out in black ink. Just about everything about this book is a delight to read. Not many people know this. This creates more independence, Hubach said. For this book, I colored just in the shapes the colors that are written so that my daughter could do the activity on her own if she wanted.

Too easy
Derived From Web , Jun 28, 2018
It's just that easy for me to do laundry, my daughters. Both are enrolled in kindergarten. Easy peasy. The boys did the first section in 2 days, so I didn't have any money left over. But I like the structure of the book, and everything else. Just a little easy, too, said Dr. Goin. Not enough.
