We love it

My son absolutely LOVES these books. We've finished the whole series until the new one comes out, so we don't have any regrets. If you have an advanced, younger reader, you may find the answer to your prayers. The challenge, for example, is to create a more advanced book without the context of books geared toward older children.

Cheap Binding
Derived From Web , May 26, 2020
Six books were bought by Rowling herself, who admitted she has not read all of them. The kids loved them, but the pages fell out after one reading. These are not too expensive, but don't expect them to last.

Falling apart after ONE week
Derived From Web , Mar 14, 2020
Only in the past few weeks have we seen any real quality control. I got the first three books in this series through Scholastic Book Club, my second grade. I bought the book on Amazon, and it was a huge hit. The one I got through Amazon was through the CRAP program. After one week of being read, pages are falling out and the binding is coming apart. Now I have to go through and try to fix these books after each kid tries to read it, wasting my time.

Book fell apart
Derived From Web , Jan 24, 2020
The book is great, well written, just constructed very poorly. In one week, I bought all the books I needed. The spines cracked and the pages were ruined. Only when the adhesive is removed can the product be called "glue."

Falling Apart!
Derived From Web , Dec 4, 2019
My second graders absolutely love the Press Start books, but they are falling apart. Such a waste of my money for my classroom, Mr. Dhaliwal said. It's really frustrating, Mr. Dhaliwal said. The publisher needs to do something about this, Mr. Rule told the judge.

Great for new readers
Derived From Web , Mar 27, 2018
We're huge fans of the video game series, Call of Duty. My son has read all of the books, and I think he's going to enjoy them all. I found the other two in his Scholastic book club. It took four years to get here, but we did it. And, I must say, this has turned my new reader into an eager reader. Very good for new readers, probably 1st graders.
