Decent Cookbook for Fans

So far, I've made Metatron's Waffles, Death's Hot Dog, Mary's Sam's Cobb Salad, and a couple of others. Some of the recipes are super simple, such as Cobb Salad, but none require hard-to-find ingredients or a long list of difficult instructions. Everything is straight-forward, no missing instructions, and the food turned out great, he said. It was one of my favorite shows, and I love the take on Pig 'n' Poke! If you like the show, like the food Dean and Sam eat or talk about in the show, then I'd say this is a clear winner.

Recipes are not accurate to the show
Derived From Web , Dec 30, 2020
Last Christmas, I got this book and made a resolution to cook all the recipes in one year. Overall, I'm very pleased with the process, but I'm only giving 3 stars because many of the recipes are very inaccurate to the show. In fact, Dean never made Death enchiladas in that episode. Also, if you think waffles are sweet, you must be wrong. It's great to have some new ideas, but the recipes are kind of lazy. For example the vegan burger recipe just asks you to buy vegan patties instead of giving a recipe to make your own veggie patty.. I felt less enthusiastic about my burger because I didn't feel like I really "cooked" it myself.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys good food. I absolutely love the book and I'm so happy I bought it. Each page has a reference to the show and each dish is listed in order of appearance. Very cool and made by U.S. engineers.

Awesome recipes

Dad bought this for my son and he has cooked several things from it. He's a pizza guy, I'm not saying he's a bad guy. Money well spent.

"I like the pizza."

It sold me on getting that last bit of twine for that rickety old chair in the kitchen. It was such a treat to see the big pretzel! A new favourite, and one that I'll try again. Now I can get a recipe for just about anything online, but this book is a lot of fun and I'm worth it for the pictures and write ups if you're a fan of that kind of thing. We're partial to the mini Philly cheesesteaks, we think. I made them for company over the weekend and they were an absolute hit.

About That Pie
Derived From Web , Nov 30, 2019
Only in the past few weeks have I come across a recipe that I did not do any part of, and that was The Scarecrow Apple Pie. It was a good pie, said Mrs. Caramore. I'm excited to cook more from this book, Melissa.

Must have for SPN fans!
Derived From Web , Nov 10, 2019
I love how they mix healthy with indulgent recipes, putting vegetarians in mind, and also with meatless patties that are easy to substitute for beef. Definitely worth buying for the finale party as they have chicken wings and pretzels with beer cheese that you can make along with Surprise and Elvis Burgers for the main course, capping the whole thing off with cherry and apple pie for dessert.

SPN fan's dream cookbook
Derived From Web , Nov 8, 2019
It's been a huge fan of Supernatural since the first episode 15 seasons ago. With all the scenes in diners or mentions of Dean's love of pie, burgers and booze, it's no wonder it's taken so long to put out a cookbook. Each recipe has a little blurb about the episode that inspired the dish, though fans will immediately recognize some like pig in a poke from Spot Mystery. Other recipes are not directly from the show, but are inspired by characters, like Jackie's Booby Trapdoor. The book was a great read, and I enjoyed reading it just for the memories each recipe invoked, including making Castiel's Angel Cake and Pig in the Poke Shop. Next, I think we're going to have Dean's Breakfast Burger.
