Fun and zany! A delightful read!
Sam and Jade are surfer girls and BFF. The summer has begun and they spend the first day on a paddle ride, which leads to a remarkable discovery - a world of ghosts hidden under a construction site that is a future home to a resort. The thing is that these are ghosts that Sam could see only. She is apparently the only one who could save them. The illustrations are rendered in soft pastels, giving them a delicate quality. The art was reminiscent of the classic characters of Peanuts.

My daughter who “doesn’t like reading” loves this book!
I bought this book to inspire my daughter to read throughout the summer. It isn 't even summer yet and she has read the whole thing! By the way, she does not like reading '', I told her that she hasn t found the right book, I love when the mother is right! Now I have to buy the other books to keep her going through the summer.

Great story for a surfer girl who loves spirits!
My daughter is 9 and has visual processing difficulties and this book was great to help her stay engaged and better follow the spoken words visually.

Surfside Girls Book One : The Secret of Danger Point
I 'll give the book '', but first I thought it was so magical that it is not bad at all, but I can not give five stars in the rating, because it is not working.

Fun beachy read, with only a smidge of concern
I adored the art in this graphic novel greatly. It felt true and beachy, and the bikinis, without objectification, felt fresh. Word of Warning to Parents : I was uncomfortable with the 12-year-old girl's bidding relationship with a ghost boy who looks at least 14 possibly older. However, I talked with my eight-year-old about it, and we were able to sort through why it felt off. My daughter likes the beach and graphic novels and mystery though, and all are a great combo in this book, so I let her read it. In all, a fast, fun read. Apart from that one aspect, we both loved it.

8 Year old daughter loves the series
She even lent them to a friend so that she could read them. The book does have ghosts in the story line, not in a scary way.

   Great drawings, nice story
I got this to read to my daughter and ended up being just as much on the edge of my seat as her! The drawings are also great! Having grown up in a beach town also, this book brought me back to my own childhood, full of happy memories.

   Fun Read
Daughter devoured this book in a day-long well written with a caveat reference for one of the main characters didn 't quite add up. Would have been nice if there had been elaboration on why a character lived over 170 years old! Other than that, she enjoyed reading and is a great book for the summer vacation. LOL, I was actually proud that my little girl caught the inconsistency!
