Great series for reluctant readers

My son, too, does not love reading. However, he reads the other books from cover to cover as soon as I buy them for him. I can't ask for anything more for an otherwise reluctant reader!

Good book, great series.

I'm a huge fan of the 'I Survived' series books. He really liked the one and even did a book report on it. For our family, the books create conversations about natural disasters, what happens in life and the likelihood of having them where we live. The central character helps draw in the reader, plus he and his family have a good ending, so it doesn't easily upset younger readers, Kirk said.

It has been a hit with both of my children. It is appropriate for elementary and middle school students. My daughter has one child who is an excellent reader and one who struggles, but both enjoy the series.

I Survived series a must if you want your child to really enjoy reading!
Derived From Web , Sep 21, 2019
This writer really does her homework and what a writing style. My ten-year-old grandson and I have been reading the entire series. If you feel like you're right in the situation, I want to talk to you. I am a retired school counselor so I would really love it when you get a great writer and great storyline that makes my grandkids want to read, Mary.

Awesome !!

I am a reading teacher and I bought these for my 3rd grade students because they are so difficult. I've read all the I Survived books and so do the children. There are no surprises in the end results, which are full of suspense, a little scary, and everything always turns out great!

Amazing Series of books.
Derived From Web , Jun 25, 2018
My 11 year old son absolutely loves the books. My son normally does not like to read, but these books triggered that interest. I know he's reading them because he asks a lot of questions, like why did the Concorde crash? My son can read and understand history on his own. My son will enjoy the books as much as I do reading them. The other two books in the series are excellent.
