This method has been wonderful for my children.
The Suzuki method has helped my children learn the violin. The CD with the book is a must have.
   Just what I was expecting.
NIce music book for students. My son is 11 and he likes it, so I'm okay with it.
Thank you for reading great books. The price is reasonably priced and there are no problems with shipment. My grand daughter is learning to play the violin.
   Good book
This was a good buy, but I wish they included more volumes for the price. If it wasn't a requirement for the class, it wouldn't have bought.
Helps build up on what book 1 taught
It's a continuation of book 1 and allows you to improve your playing. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see progress in their playing.
   Great for Technique
I use the Suzuki books with the essential elements. I teach and take lessons. My instructor took me back to Suzuki books for bow technique. It's perfect.
   Great book, no CD
The book and method are very good. I like to hear actual music and my son enjoys playing the violin. I would have liked to see the CD included in the book.
Great book. it is highly recommend for intermediate or ...
The book was great. It is a good choice for intermediate or after 12 years of learning the violin. I bought this for my son because he was learning Violin. He only practices 30 minutes every other day. He and I practice and love this book. I like the music in the book and can see his improvement. It is a great book to buy.
Challenging at times, but worth completing.
I picked this up because my violin teacher uses the Suzuki method. I thoroughly enjoyed the pieces and more demanding technique in this book. The violin pieces vary in style, tempo, rhythms, and bows, so you can feel more comfortable with it. Practice suggestions in the book are both helpful and relevant to the actual music in the book. Specific bows, positions, a few string crossing exercises, scales, and much more are some of the exercises. I believe it depends on the teacher and not necessarily this book, but my violin teacher says the same thing, and I notice a significant improvement in skill level on the violin upon starting this book to its completion. I highly recommend this book.
