Good book

This was a good buy, but I wish they included more volumes for the price. If it wasn't a requirement for the class, it wouldn't have bought.

Great book. it is highly recommend for intermediate or ...

The book was great. It is a good choice for intermediate or after 12 years of learning the violin. I bought this for my son because he was learning Violin. He only practices 30 minutes every other day. He and I practice and love this book. I like the music in the book and can see his improvement. It is a great book to buy.

Challenging at times, but worth completing.
Derived From Web , Jul 28, 2017
I picked this up because my violin teacher uses the Suzuki method. I thoroughly enjoyed the pieces and more demanding technique in this book. The violin pieces vary in style, tempo, rhythms, and bows, so you can feel more comfortable with it. Practice suggestions in the book are both helpful and relevant to the actual music in the book. Specific bows, positions, a few string crossing exercises, scales, and much more are some of the exercises. I believe it depends on the teacher and not necessarily this book, but my violin teacher says the same thing, and I notice a significant improvement in skill level on the violin upon starting this book to its completion. I highly recommend this book.
