Vale principalmente pela história de Tom King
Coletnea de histrias do Monstro do Pntano reunidas, forma também de homenagear Len Wein, o cocriador do nosso querido monstro. As histrias nem sempre boas. A poesia de melancolia, a histria The Talk of the Saints, foi indicada ao Eisner. A histria linda de Tom King hasta. Outro destaque a ltima histria. Kelley Jones fez tudo sem bales, quadrinhos mudos. Acontece, s lendo o making of histria. Gosto tambm a romntica Heart- shaped Box.

   Gems within
I am not a fan of Tom King. Swamp Thing is my favorite character and Mr. King is my favorite author. Absolutely wonderful. I' ve read one that's as good as the last one. I' ve read it many times and will read it again. The other stories have good art. I was disappointed that this collection wouldn't include more. Swamp Thing's appearance in Superman and his Wal- mart Giant issues would' ve made the double dip worth it for me.

   The Bible of Swamp Thing
I realized I was holding the Bible for Swamp Thing after reading the last story. Understanding the character of Swamp Thing is dependent on the facet presented in each of the collected stories. A person who protects? Is this a monster? A hopless romantic? The character was never understood by me more. The legacy and evolution of this character was made clear by the final work of Wein. Thank you Wein, for such an icon. If you' re interested in learning how to write comics, the last dozen or so pages of the script used for the stories are where you' ll find the information.

   Pure Swampy
There is an excellent collection of Swamp Thing stories. I was expecting more than that. The book has uncolored ink from Fabok and Capullo's stories, which is an awesome addition. There is a genuine edition.
