   Difficult
Reading these and the organization of the book is difficult, but it is definitely a good attempt at combining the gospels for an easy comparison.

This book is not an easy read. However
A comparative treatment of the Gospels with each Gospel viewed side by side, so that one can compare the writings of all the Gospels on a particular subject or story. The material is, however, well presented and logical once you understand the book's outline and flow.

   Bible study
Another person had this book and I wanted to buy one. It is interesting to be able to read each gospel in a book. I could not do it from the Bible or would not. I think in my mind I would lose a reading as I worked on finding another.

Companion book for Historical Bible Literature
An excellent companion book for a college course in historical Bible literature. Written to give a side-by-side review of the Four Gospels and evaluate why the view points were written in mind with different audiences.

   Indispensable for Bible research
Truly, a great guiding tool for anyone wishing to read and compare the four Gospels in the New Testament. All similar parables, events and sermons -- all the contents of the Gospels -- are numbered in a chronological order with gaps or omissions shown in comparitive tables. One can read each subject on one or a few pages, e.g. The Sermon On The Mount or the Prodigal Son, each as given in each Gospel.

Great book for understanding the Synoptic Gospels
This book, as recommended to me for a class I took, was a great help. It will continue to help me in planning homilies in the years to come.

Very good reference for the gospel comparison, although I have to figure out some of the codes used. I bought it glad.

This is an excellent way to do side by side comparisons of events ...
It is organized chronologically with helpful headlines titling each event. I bought this for a class and I have never used another tool for doing gospel comparisons side by side, but I loved using it.
