Even though the answer is given, it's hard to see how you arrived at that answer.

and recommended for optometrists who plan to dispense eyewear
Derived From Web , Feb 8, 2022
This is a mandatory text for all practicing orthodontists. I have an ABO Master certification as well as a license to practice as an eye doctor. It's an excellent resource for all things related to Ophthalmology. The updated version has color photographs. I purchased the third edition for my own reference, as I' ve used the second edition extensively.

THE #1 Reference Book for Dispensing
Derived From Web , Feb 8, 2022
This is the book for doctors. I used this to study for the AOA and ABO licensing tests and passed both without any problems, so I used it as reference in my school. The hows and whys of the eye are detailed in the reference. I'm proud to have this book in my collection and I still refer to it now.

Welllll
Derived From Web , Feb 8, 2022
It definitely is over! I bought this to help me study. It's too much information, so I set it aside to use TOPS. There are major type-o's for a third edition book. I would like to edit it and send it back for a new edition. Practice exams are helpful. There's a lot of information. I will keep my copy as a reference, but I expect it to accumulate a lot of dust.

Good optical guide
Derived From Web , Dec 29, 2020
It was in great shape. It was a required text for a course, but I loved the in- depth examples and pictures for how to adjust and repair eyewear so much that I bought it. The information is helpful for anyone working with eyewear.

Too Heavy buy the E-Book
Derived From Web , Sep 8, 2019
This book is required if you are going into Ophthalmic Dispensing. You can carry your device instead if you get the E- book. I was going to return the book after I got the eBook, but it was too expensive. I wish I had found them sooner.

Great resource for any optician and well worth the cost
Derived From Web , Jan 27, 2017
While I passed my ABO, I'm still learning a lot about more complicated lens and repairs. It's worth the cost for a great resource.
