It's a long time since my kids were little but now I got this book for my niece. We used to have to have to much fun with this story, Mr. Dhaliwal said. It was a great read-aloud, said Dr. Julie Mason, director of the university's Centre for Human Resource Management. A fun read-aloud is Jerry Pinkney's "Briar Fox: A Life Made of Gold," which was also a finalist in the 1998 Pulitzer Prize.

The book was recommended to me by a teacher who has a dyslexic child. Though it seemed too simple to him, he loved it and thought the illustrations were great. It was great to see all the kids having a good time, said Blair.

Very cute story that kids love and teaches a lesson about acceptance of others that are different
Derived From Web , Jun 27, 2019
A super cute book about a penguin. It teaches that differences should be valued and accepted without ridicule. The first book in a series that the students in my class all love to read again and again. A quality book, with a positive message, Simon said.

FUNNY!

It's one we refer to often. Asking the kids to act like the penguins was a good idea, Mr. Dhaliwal said. Or over acting like Tacky.
