Cute Learn to Read books

My son, who is in the process of learning to read, is very familiar with Disney and the characters in the movies. We started buying a bunch of these early reader books to introduce him to easy reading and keep the stories and characters fresh in his mind without having to watch the movie repeatedly. We have a number of these books and I would recommend them to everyone. The original illustrations generally stay close to the cute storylines and are inexpensive.

I feel that Disney's stories should be left to older children, who can read the longer, more detailed versions. These shorter versions are so simplistic that there is really no point in reading them. I think that for step 1 and step 2 books it is better to stick with little stories like Ballet Stars or Sleepy Dogs. Those also have rhyming schemes that are more fun to read.

I was disappointed because despite the different titles and covers all three of the tangled step books I received had very similar text and pictures. The only change was very little. However, my 3 year old mind did not seem to be.

Great for Disney lovers

My five year old is really into the step into reading books - they have just enough of a plot to keep her interested, but small enough words that she can read them on her own. Like many 5 year olds, my daughter is obsessed with Disney princesses, so that purchase was well received in our house.

My daughter has a reading disability, she is in love with all the steps to reading books. She loves Daisy and all other books, which is easy to understand and to comprehend. The story was very nice! She read it easy and quickly and understood everything she read. Thank you for sharing Melissa )le, I downloaded the book to her phone so that she can read it whenever she wants.
