She enrolls in Yasiro Academy, a high-tech school with classes like algebra, biology, and alien languages (which Cleo could do without), and combat training (which is more Cleo's style). Top-shelf writing & artwork—this comic-art book is a real enjoyment to read

Cleopatra in Space is a great comic book with a fantastic lead character, story line and supporting group of characters. My only gripe is that I knew with every passing page that the end of the book was closer and closer. This is the kind of book that I wish were an online comic book, I would read it all the time. Heck, I 'd even pay to subscribe! Another thing I like about CIS is that Cleopatra is also interesting and well-written enough to appeal to most young readers. That is a bonus for me because I am always looking for books in the hands of the students to encourage reading. That said, I look forward to the first cleopatra in the space movie.

Fun, handsome comic for kids and adults

I found Mike Maihack from his work on the beautiful Goblins Drool, Fairies Rule! The card game is playing. I bought this ostensibly to give to my son for his 8th birthday, but secretly I wanted to read it for myself. I had high expectations and was not disappointed a bit. It is all too rare to find interesting, imaginative, non-superhero, family-friendly comics. Of course, they are out there, but certainly not enough for them.

Space opera YA comic teen heroine Cleopatra is Princess bored with school work. This is a princess who doesn 't need to be saved. Recommended, especially for young women who need more positive role models.

its too short...

Ok, so I bought this book and let me be honest, it was not the worst... yet it was way too short and not worth the money. I would have given this a star, but the idea and animation is good. If you made this up and dragged it just a little longer, the money would have been worth it. I hoped that this helped you.

Great for a struggling reader.

My daughter had trouble with her reading skills. She is 10 and reads at about a second grade level. This comic has been great because the subject appeals to her age group without being too difficult to read. There are not many words on each page, so she gets to turn quickly and feels like she is making lots of progress. There are also some difficult words, but aren 't so hard that they are discouraging. My son also took an interest in this book. I really like that the protagonist is female, but her character and setting can appeal to both boys and girls.

Loved this!!

I loved this book ''. Cleopatra is transported from Egypt to the future and to Mayet Planet. There she is recognized as the Saver, there to defeat the evil dictator, who is conquering civilizations. But even in the future, Cleo has to go to school and deal with friendship problems. The artwork is beautiful and the cinematic flair brings the action to life. Cleo is a strong, fearless heroine to which girls can look. It is fun, exciting and I look forward to reading more in the series.

Combining that with a great world makes for retro-futuristic eye candy. I look forward to the next installment.

"There was lots of action and fighting and time travel"

Great book for children aged 7-12 review by a 10 year old avid reader of graphic novels. I like this book because it was really good and interesting and i think it was an amazing book to read, lots of action and time travel. I did not include 5 stars because there were some parts in the book that I could not understand parts and some parts were kinda interesting, which could be kind of weird. i really likes that book. You should find out one day and read how amazing this book is really. In space, CLEOPATRA is one of my favorite books in the world. I want to be helpful for anyone who is thinking about buying this book, and here is an option : YES. If you already read this book, be sure to share your thoughts and ideas with other people so that you can share how wonderful a book this is. Now to think about it, take your time and think right now if you are interested in receiving this book. Bye, of course, was created.
