   A lot of information
I want to learn more about beer and types in general. The book goes into a lot more depth than I was expecting, and there isn't a lot of information on beer types. This book was not what I had in mind when I bought it.

   Highly Informative and Entertaining
The journey to Cicerone training began with this book. Tasting Beer is more of an introduction to the world of beer. It walks the line between in depth and cursory knowledge, as to leave you wanting more. I recommend anyone to start their journey with this beverage.

If you only pick one book about beer, this is the one you want
I want to read a book about beer that is more detailed and interesting. The book on all things beer is the best available. The book is full of colorful images and photos and also has an index and glossary of terms. The pages are glossy. It begins with a brief history of beer before moving on to the topics of beer making, tastes, judging and evaluation, beer and food, and finally, deep dives into different styles of beer. This book is a great read for anyone who is familiar with the topic of beer and is perfect for anyone wanting an enlightenment and education about beer. This is a book I love. Sam Calagione is the owner of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery and he says that Randy is a true beer advocate.

Must Read For Anyone Who Loves Beer
The history of beer and mankind are both covered in this book. I found this while studying for the Cicerone exam and it covers a lot of the material. Given the amount of time I spend driving, I bought the audiobook that is narrated by Randy Mosher.

   Awesome!
Home brew beer, modern home brew recipes, how to brew, and classic styles are all contained in this book. Beyond the Pale The Story of Sierra Nevada is also good on a Saturday. Cheers! In the US, I wish we did more with beer engines. I would like to see Amazon develop its own store to compete with Northern Brewer and More Beer. Cheers!

   The Beer Textbook
The first edition of this book gave an excellent basic education in all that is beer, and this edition just improves on it. The Cicerone Exam was helped by this book because it provided the basics for the most novice, but also some of the most in- depth information that even advanced tasters will reference on a regular basis. I cannot recommend this enough.

   Informative
The first two thirds of this book were very readable and entertaining. The remaining part of the book is filled with information that will take me longer to process, such as information on styles or descriptions of draft systems. A very useful book for someone starting their exploration of beer.
