Team Yankee: A Novel Of World War Iii is 330 pages long.
Good story, horrible edition.
Derived From Web , Feb 8, 2022
I was in the army in the 80's and fell in love with the story. This wasn't just a story about a fictional battle, this was real. The story is fast paced and accurate. If you served during the 80's early 90's, you will recognize yourself in this book somewhere. I have a hardback book that was retyped on a machine with rigid auto correct engaged. Punctuation is random, sentences make no sense, names are spelled differently from one paragraph to another, and tenses change in mid- sentence. This happens on almost every page of the book. I decided to just get through the story after I wanted to red pen everything. I'm not sure how this edition made it to the proof readers.

A really poor Optical Character rendition of the original book.

I own the hardbound version of this book and have read it many times. The main way I keep track of my books is through the Amazon version. Between 8 and 12 years later, I read books that I enjoy. I came across words that didn't fit the context of the part of the book where they were found. It was so hard to stop reading and go back and read a paragraph to see why it wasn't making sense. This book is so poorly done that I will probably never read it again. I will go to my storage building and find the hardback version and read it next time. Due to the many errors, this version was not enjoyable to read.
