What more encouraging way to gain perspective than by talking to someone who has been there, especially when that someone is one of your peers.
Written expressly for teens by teens, this unique 365 day devotional is filled with personal experiences that are relatable and heart-felt. In addition to learning teen to teen how to deal with difficult issues and maneuver the often trying path to adulthood, each devotion leads teens to move into a deeper relationship with Christ as they recognize that He is the answer to life's problems and strife. Through the stories of others, teens see how God works in our lives when we open ourselves to Him. The devotion includes hundreds of teen authors and teens love reading what their peers have written. This devotional creates a safe, social atmosphere for teens to learn that they are not alone and that God is at work in their lives. Teens learn from other's failures and triumphs how to make the right choices. The impetus for this devotional is to help teens understand how God can and does work in their lives. I thumbed through it and liked the easy set up
Derived From Web , May 18, 2022
I did not put it in the church library, so it would be easier to pick up the teens.

... much of this but it sounded a little more like professionals wrote it
Derived From Web , May 18, 2022
I was slightly surprised when I read that teens had written much of this, but it sounded a little more like professionals wrote it. I purchased it for my grandson who is 15 and was hoping that the real devotions would have sounded a little more like teen struggles with everyday struggles. To me, this book is more mature for more mature Christians. I've always felt like my grandson will probably not read it.

This is the best devotional for a more popular teen who is not down with the mature Lingo! It is designed for the more intelligent young man.

Horrible color print
Derived From Web , Jul 12, 2021
I would give it a higher rating if the writing was done in black print instead, it is done in a light brown and is difficult to read. My son is wearing glasses, but even I have a difficult time with the color of the print.

Mediocre for us
Derived From Web , Jan 7, 2020
I bought this to be able to have devotions with my 13 year old sons. It is just ok, we are kind of beyond the simple topics in our discussions that are in this book. Pretty quickly, we lost interest.

Excellent devo with very light print!
Derived From Web , Oct 10, 2018
I am a mother in her 40s, so that this book is not written for me. But when I want to read it with my kids, I really struggle with the very light print. My eyesight is not great, I admit. There is no reason why it should be so difficult to read. I think that even the target audience might struggle to read it if they were not in a well-lit room or had vision issues. Don 't let this stop you from buying it, just be prepared!
