   Turtle Power Returns.IDW
It is darker than the cartoons ever were so not recommended for children that young. The book itself is great quality all around paper, binding and even footnotes, Mr. D'Antonio said. IDW has a second volume coming out in September and if its the same quality as this i will be purchasing it. Great product, said Dr. Goin.
So... this is how they were inprint back in the old days.
Indeed, I devoured the first volume of Peter Laird's Ninja Turtle, which I only found out about two weeks ago. It's basically the Old Hollywood version of Robin Hood, except that it has add-ons. It's more violent and humourless in its own way, but I like it to that of Frank Miller. It's mostly about honour and vengeance of being a ninja without the pizza.
   Great gift for Turtles fans
Bought this as a present for my boyfriend who really liked it. It's well-made, and heavy, too.
   Great add to my collection
Haven't been following the IDW run for a few years now, and wanted to give this book a try. Really enjoyed the music and the story reviews by Eastman and Laird. Very good condition, said Gillian, "although we did get a little bit lost in the translation." A very good book.
Beware if you're buying for children. There's profanity.
I bought this for my 10 year old son because he was watching the original Ninja Turtles cartoon. Buyers beware: The buyer beware. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and no one is saying what the hell is wrong with that. The front pages were black and white, and the back pages were black and white. It's just that I might have overlooked that in the product description. It's a shame I couldn't give it five stars. He said: "I am very disappointed.
You need to own this book, Turtles Fan.
It's a large book, so the pages are seen big and in the original black and white. This is the best reprint I've ever seen. And boy did I get pregnant! The turtles will last eons and it is because of these comics, I am certain. Before you can understand the turtles you really need to read all of these. Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird created these two great stories that combined to make for a great action comic. They are subversives, said Blair Furst, director of music for the Postal Service.
   Way grittier
After watching the show "Toys That Made Us" I decided to invest in this book, since I was unaware of the gritty, underground history of the turtles. I was not disappointed, said Dr. Brian Stokes Mitchell, director of NASA's Ames Research Center in California. Really fun, quick read, and completely original, too, by Frank Quattrone. This is by far the best product I have ever purchased.
Turtle Prime Is Alive and Well
For those who have no idea where the TMNT came from. This collection of the first seven issues answers that inquiry, having watched my daughter grow up with the original animated series. It's great to be back in the black and white of our beginnings.
An excellent book that tells of the original stories of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by Eastman and Laird.
I was really hoping to check out the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics, and boy was I hooked. This was more violent and epic before the turtles came onto TV and turned kid friendly, Myers said. If people would like to check out the original volumes of the TMNT printed by Mirage Comics, then this book is for you.
Must read. See where it all started.
As a kid, I was a huge fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. However i had not seen this collection until now, so when i had the chance to read the comicw that started it all i had to have it. Like the cartoon or movie characters, Turtles had a dark edge. This is a must read for any tmnt fan or just the comic collector. Brand new York is a must-see, writes Michael Winship of The New Republic.
