Thoughtful, comprehensive, easy to implement

This was a gift for someone that likes to entertain. She loved everything about it and loved everything about it. She found the written material carefully written, comprehensive and easy to implement. She followed the instructions for a gathering of many friends and received many compliments. Before gatherings, gatherings were more conversation and eating than actually including and enjoying a festive setting. It kicks the gathering up a notch! It kicks the gathering up a kick! Don 't serve just chips, crackers and dips with your wine. Make friends feel special and enjoy the set up. Make friends feel special.

I bought it on the recommendation of a friend. The photos are beautiful to be sure and they give step by step instructions on how to create the charcuterie board. I was sad, however, because there were not many recipes... or board ideas that I have not done. Plus, you can get the same ideas for free on Pinterest. Unless you are supporting the author, I see no real need for this book.

I wish I had taken a picture of the cheese board I made for the Easter brunch. I bought it from EVERYONE, thought I bought it. I was overwhelmed with all the boards on Instagram and Facebook. I am a structured, perfectionist who can throw things together and feel right. This book was the MOST AWESOME - Guide for all board types. SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS & SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS SIMPLE SHOPPING LIST - SHOPPING LIST SIMPLE SHOPPING LIST I was so pleased with my creation that I was so happy with it. My daughter and my daughter-in-law both loved my board so much I bought them a book each. Marissa's short explanations of cheese, how to cut and different meats, was basic with just enough information to digest. Everybody should have this book, EVERYONE should have it. It's my go-to for non-stressful entertaining.

This book helped me prepare Charles & Coats for gatherings and makes me look like a professional. I've received so many compliments! I also sometimes buy the book and order a wine glass set or a charcuterie set for a house warming gift. Everyone loved it! This book is so easy to follow and has detailed photos that include what items to first place on the plate, it is really helpful. Dump the Dwarf will not be disappointed.

A short title for a lofty book about cheese is a short book. Cheese boards, well not exactly cheese, cheese boards. Maybe it's the stay at home order, but this one didn 't land for me. Sure, there are the endless pages of creative cheese displays. And there is the requisite fits on a note card '' playbook. But other than a minor detour into astrology, that is all we got. If you are looking for ideas for cheese board ideas, this is a good place to start. The images are quite nice. For a while now, I was a huge fan of Marissa Mullen and her Instagram accounts, @thatcheeseplate and @cheesebynumbers. When I heard that she was publishing a book, I immediately placed an order. I never did I imagine that the book would be even better than her Instagram accounts! Filled with beautiful photos, delicious illustrations and adorable recipes. It really doubles as a pretty coffee table book and an easy to follow recipe book. Can 't wait to make the recipes and I will definitely order more copies - for sure my go-to gift this year! !
