This isn 't the book that is supposed to be a light novel, but when I bought the light novel, I got this.

   Better then the anime.
Here the art is better and the set uppacing is better than in the anime. They are both good, but this is better.

   Rimuru
In volume 9 of that time I reincarnated as a slime, not much happens from a plot prospective perspective, but a lot does happen from a character prospective perspective. In a non-spoken way of summarizing the theme of this volume, it is about self-reflection. This entire series has not given him much of an opportunity to think about his new life and this volume makes him that. A small little line that most miss that summarizes this, is him wondering how long do aliens live for. In this volume, there is plenty of comedy and other things to enjoy. But if I had to recommend reading volume 9, it would be to take your time and really sink the notions. I have been with MickManga and I see you all in the next volume.

A little too predictable read A little too nice needs some cliff hangers. The conversation between Dragon and Demon is instructive. Good job, David!
