Based on the blockbuster podcast where the McElroy brothers and their dad play a tabletop RPG and illustrated by cartooning powerhouse Carey Pietsch, The Adventure Zone: The Crystal Kingdom takes this #1 New York Times bestselling series to haunting new heights.

A desperate call for help interrupts holiday celebrations at the Bureau of Balance, and sends Taako, Magnus and Merle on a high-stakes mission to find and Reclaim a fourth deadly relic: a powerful transmutation stone, hidden somewhere in the depths of a floating arcane laboratory that's home to the Doctors Maureen and Lucas Miller. An unknown menace has seized control of the stone, and is using it to transform the lab into a virulent pink crystal that spreads to everything it touches.

It's only a matter of time before this sparkling disaster crash-lands, but in order to find the stone and save the whole planet from being King Midased, our heroes will have to fight their way through a gauntlet of rowdy robots and crystal golems, decide whether they can trust the evasive Lucas Miller, and solve the mystery of what--or who--has put them all in peril, before there's no world left to save.

   Won Christmas
He also gave me the rest of the set, complete with the rest of the costumes. They're great guys, he said of the Stones. The pictures are so realistic, even though we fell asleep listening to MBMBAM and Adventure Zone. I absolutely love the book and can't wait to read all the rest.

Not for Kids - My Bad
My 12yo saw these at Comic Con and because of their looks I assumed they were for kids. Yes, I do believe in reincarnation. It's just that the DVD is so good, I think. I'll let the kid read them once and then give them to someone else for their pleasure, Mr. Rule told the judge. That kid can come back, he said.

   The Boys are back!
If you haven't read their book "the adventure zone here there are gerblins" read that first. Don't forget to subscribe to the podcast. If you're a fan, it adds to the enjoyment. As I read them, I can hear each person's voice say, "Oh my God, I love you." If you haven't listened to the podcast, this is still a hilarious and fun read.

   Amazing!!!
I've been a fan of TAZ for a few years and I'm so excited to get this pre-ordered, said Blair. Even though the book is a tad late, Pietsch does a great job of staying true to the franchise and you can tell the effort and love that went into the illustrations. There are tons of cute easter eggs, references to MBMBAM, and other fun nods to nearly every panel. I can't wait to own the whole series! It's great to be back home, said Blair.

The Podcast is Great and so are the Books
I enjoyed The Adventure Zone podcast and was excited to buy the book versions when I heard they were a thing, said Jennette. If you're thinking about purchasing the book, then you probably have read the previous three books and are familiar with the story. Consistency in those two areas. I wanted to write this review so that I could attach pictures for the hardcover version, Morgenthau said. I was also interested in the hardcover versions, but was not sure how different they would be from the paperback versions. The hardcover version is slightly taller and thicker than the paperback. I think the hardcover version is of nice quality, and the cover is also very good. Just about everything about HBO's programming is unique. Thanks for the pictures. I'm really enjoying these books, Rowling said. Can't wait for the next one.

   Great buy!
This book is great for the story canonically, and it adds extra behind-the-scenes information that explains what other characters were doing in the meantime, Crane said. CBS2's Tony Guida reports.

   It’s Candlenights in July!
Please make these happen! After a year of waiting, and pre-ordering, the fourth book of this amazing adventure is finally here. Just finished reading the second book, and can't wait to read it again. Really appreciate how this chapter in the arc was adapted, especially how Carey Pietsch draws Noelle, and how she depicts the budding romance between Taako and Kravitz. But the star of this show might just be our favorite Dragonborn. Loved every scene she appeared in, said Blair. Really tremendous work all around and I look forward to seeing what marvelous gift I find in the mail next July, he said.

   Lovin’ it!
I've loved the Adventure Zone for years, even though I'm not a huge fan of Dr. Shelby. Really hits it stride here. This comic interpretation is delightful, Mr. D'Antonio said. I've enjoyed them all - and this one continues to impress and capture the joy of the podcast.

   YESSSSSSSSSS
YES! It's been a long time coming, and finally my favorite character from the podcast is introduced. It's everything, and I'm so happy we got it done with Kravitz's character design, it's ridiculous. Plus, the additions she made for banter and flirting, and yet stayed in line with TAZ's plotline... I have never seen such a dedication to excellence in a product. Thanks for the support!!!!!!!!!
