   A favorite at our house!
The book we purchased was for our three year old son. It was a big hit! We read it a couple of times a week in rotation with the other Golden Books about super heroes. Simple text and fun pictures make it enjoyable, but quick to read. It's a good introduction to Spiderman and some of the villains in the series. We recommend this book and the other Golden Books.

We needed new books because my son was obsessed with spiderman. I found this one and it's a good price, but I'm not pulling my hair out trying to finish it before I go to sleep.

I like to read little golden books. I have happy memories of my childhood. I like to collect new titles to go with the ones that I loved as a child.

   Nice pictures but no story
The illustrations are well illustrated, but lacking in plot. I thought there would be more of the origin story, but it was more of a list of characteristics and enemies.

   Fun, Easy Read
I bought it for our daughter. My husband's favorite character is Spider-Man, and he's passed that love down to our daughter. She was going to read a Spider-Man book. A general overview of how Peter Parker became Spider-Man is included in the story. It's a quick read, but entertaining for everyone, and you really can't go wrong with a Golden Book.

   Recipient loved it
My little brother is 24 years old and has a disability. It is difficult to buy gifts for him because he likes picture books and Spider Man. I wanted to see if he would enjoy it. He takes it with him to school. The illustrations inside are great, though the book is less of a story and more like an introduction to the character of Spider-Man, but my brother is not concerned with the words on the pages. I'm happy that he's happy.

When my nephew unwrapped it, he didn't want to put it down, so I gave him this for Christmas. The cover was heavy duty, the print was large, and the pictures were colorful.
