Well done.

Well done. Could have been better. The best images to view are the development sketches. I don't understand why only game- art books include scads of development artwork while movie- art books always skimp. My copy arrived with one of the corners somewhat crunched and I would have preferred a hardcover copy. The imagery in the book is nice. You will be happy if you are a Dune fan.

Beautiful Art Book!

It is like a dessert to eat after watching the movie. The reading experience is enhanced by the soundtrack that was made for the book. The book that I always wanted to read was Dune.

More hype than anything else
Derived From Web , Oct 24, 2021
The film's set design is not explored in the book. There are more biographies on the characters than there are art biographies. If you save your money, you can find more in- depth exploration of the artwork and design that went into the film online.

Incredible Resource

From the page quality to the slip case, the production value is amazing. As a lover of all art books and behind the scenes information, this is a perfect combination of the beauty of the film and the creative process that brought it to light. Denis Villineuve is my favorite director, and the insight into his role was great to read. I was happy to find a book on Arrival coming next year, after setting this down. I can't wait to get more of them.

As exciting as the movie.

A year ago, I purchased this book. It was like Christmas came early between the arrival and the release of the movie. The book is wonderful. Behind the scenes look like a movie. Excellent!
