A prolific writer, bestselling novelist, and world-renowned philosopher, Ayn Rand defined a full system of thought--from epistemology to aesthetics. THE AYN RAND LEXICON brings together all the key ideas of her philosophy of Objectivism. Begun under Rand's supervision, this unique volume is an invaluable guide to her philosophy or reason, self-interest and laissez-faire capitalism--the philosophy so brilliantly dramatized in her novels THE FOUNTAINHEAD, WE THE LIVING, and ATLAS SHRUGED.

Still One of the Best Books on Objectivism and Ayn Rand

This book is very good. Her ideas on any given topic are scattered throughout her many books. Quick access to all her ideas can be found in the Ayn Rand Lexicon. I' ve used it for many years and will continue to use it. Today, this book is more valuable than ever, as Ayn Rand is so often misrepresented. It's a useful reference for anyone who is interested in ideas or Ayn Rand.

great intro into the epistemological world of ayn rand

If you don't have time to read her books, you can cross reference her ideas here to get started. For those new to her work, I suggest starting with ' altruism'. How long have I been shoveling other people's shit instead of developing myself? When you find out, don't be horrified.

Awesome reference for both ends of the spectrum
Derived From Web , Feb 8, 2022
If you' re like me, you' re interested in Ayn Rand's philosophy but not the full- blown Objectivist. There is a wide range of commentary by Ayn Rand in this book. All of the material in this book can be viewed for free. I got the book so I could read it while I was not on the computer. This book contains commentary from a jackass named Leonard Peikhoff, who is the founder of the Ayn Rand Institute. He is known to be an idiot and deviates from the original philosophy. This book is great.
