   ready, set, BABY.....
A new baby is a scary thing to bring into a blended family. My fiance and I have a 45 - year old from previous relationships, and I am terrified about, well, everything. Forget it, more than anything, I did not want to have a baby be a shock to our boys. Goed I so to the world of Google. How do I introduce my pre-kinderg children to the idea of a baby? Blog after blog discussed about acclamation, give them the idea early. Only a single lady gave me an idea of how to do it. In season 2, Daniel's Daniel Tiger gets a little sister. I was thrilled, we watched the episode and talked about it. Then I found this book and this one is a board book vs the other being a paper book, but they cover different parts of having a sister. Beautiful colors, great at bedtime, easy for introducing an idea to your kids.

It was good to help my daughter prepare for our sons arrival ...
This is a cute story that follows the tiger tv show of course. When it is time for baby grandparents Daniel and parents go to the hospital to have baby. It was good to help my daughter prepare for our sons arrival and just so happens that her grandparents stayed with her during our little guys arrival, so that it matched nicely, except we moved right after, so we did not paint and prepare baby's room like they did in the book.

   Amazing book
I must say that we love this book. My son, my husband and I love how the older baby sister comes and how the presenter will be a great helper. We are very sensitive about the books we read to our son, especially there are so many books with no updated information about child psychological respect. I have recommended this book to everyone.

   Cute story
By the end of this year, my granddaughter will be a big sister. She loves Daniel Tiger, so I bought her this book. We read it several times a day since we received it. It features all the characters from the show. Grandpere and dad go to the hospital, and Daniel stays with Grandpere at home. Daniel then gets to meet his new sister and helps name her. Jones shows his new sister to all his friends as they walk home.

Super cute for the new big brother/sister!
The new big sister is perfect for the new you! We put this book in a new suitcase for our daughter from her big brother. All the pages show Andrews getting ready for his new baby sister and bringing her home. a way to ease the transition in a way that our toddler could understand!

   Cousins...
I bought this book for Grandson's cousins because they just received a new baby girl cousin. I read it to 2 of them and said at the end that it was a good story and they loved it! I wish I could get every single one of Daniel Tiger's story books. I actually got her a Margaret doll, right here on Amazon, my favorite place to shop, in the whole wide world!

Completely eased our toddler's transition from only child to sibling
Our 35-month-old son could not be more sweet and excited about his new baby sister! She is now 7 weeks old and he's still so loving and accepting of herself. This book were just two of the many things we did to help him prepare for a sibling and ease his transition, but I am certain that this was a big part of it. We even did some of the same things with him that Daniel does with his parents to prepare for the new baby, such as moving his old crib back into the nursery, sorting baby clothes and picking out a present for him to give the new baby.

   Our favorite
Great book for preparing an older sibling for a new baby, and one of the only ones that has prepared him for actual details! It talks about how to prepare the baby's room, how someone will come close to him when it is time for Mom to go to the doctor, and how sometimes babies cry when they are hungry. My elder son is 3 and has lots of questions, so that this book was much better than others that glossed over everything or was too big picture ''.

Thin quality, no hard cover, -UPDATED POST (too long)!
Cute book and I am still excited to give it to my niece as a gift at my sister's baby shower, but I doubt it will last much longer than a week. The paper is really thin, of low quality. This book has a soft cover like a magazine in mind. Hopefully she'll [my Neice ] will read it and be excited anyways! Update -- ---->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> She liked looking at the book, but there were lots of confusing words! For an older child, maybe more suitable suited.
