Very Good, not their best, but very good
This is a good title, but in my opinion a little too long on the build up to the bad dreams and too short of the dealing with the bad dreams, and I was also sad to see no how not to have bad dreams discussion. We still like it, we still read it. It was a wild night at the zoo, and my 4 year old read it to his stuffed money when the monkey didn't feel good. While I enjoyed the first episode of Learn About BBs, I would have liked to have seen more of the latter. However, most of the BB cub adventures are well recieved in this home.

   Classic
Who doesn't love a Berenstain Bears? These are household names. There are just a handful of such cards left to play, and they seem to be vanishingly rare. As long as the situation calls for it, I get them for my kids. It's the first day of school, and boy are we excited! My 4 yr old is going to be getting a few of these for Christmas this year! Cause Santa knows what's up!

   Great for nightmares
So I picked this and THEREN'AIN Bears in the dark up when my 3 year old was struggling with nightmares. It's great to be back home, said Blair, "Everyone is sleeping through the night again."

Gives my 4 year old bad dreams
This is a great little book, and we love Berenstain Bears, but I realized after reading this nightmare a few times at bedtime that it gives my daughter nightmares. She was 4 months old when her father, Paul, was killed. I don't need mommy, I had a bad dream and a kid crawling into my bed, she said.

You can stock your library with Berenstain Bear books, they're that cheap
We all remember them from our own childhoods. It's just that they're really pretty wordy books. Simply put, a lot of children in the age range can't sit still through them. This book takes it a bit further in that most of it is not about the bad dream at all, but about the events leading up to it. It's great and realistic, but which may lead a small child to wonder what the point is? The story could easily have been told in half the pages and - and this I know because I self-edit as I read - a third of the words, he said.

   Good book
Only a boring ending to a good book. The ending will probably be a little longer and interesting, Crowe said. Yes, I think you should read this book.

No wonder Berenstain Bears have trusted long-time partners to handle each situation with ease. The book was ordered by Amazon. com for a 5 year old.
