   Great oldie!
My students absolutely love the books of Berestein Bears, and my students absolutely love the books of Berestein Bears! I teach Kindergarten so that this books is above their independent reading level. They love it when I read this book to them. In each of the Berestein Bear books, there are life lessons, which I love. I think that children learn at a young age how to lie, so it is good to learn that you should always tell the truth. I would highly recommend '' this product. It is very reasonably priced and arrived in a timely manner. It is of excellent quality and I received this book new. Note that I did not receive this book at a discounted price. I paid the full price for this product. This is my honest review of the book. Please let me know how I vote by voting Yes.

but thought this would be a great one to add to the collection because of the ...
I grew up loving to read the book series of Berenstain Bears so that I have always wanted to see my children reading them as well. We already have some of the other series books at home, but thought this would be a great addition to the collection because of the subject of the story. Unfortunately, we have dealt with some problems with children not always telling the truth, and I have found that my children tend to listen better when it comes from someone other than mom or dad. Both my children love this book and have been able to learn more about the importance of telling the truth.

I liked think story if still relevant
I liked the story if it was still relevant ''. Some children may be too young to understand, though. We went to school as well to share with the class and the teacher said it went well. The children had started learning to tell stories to avoid punishment... Pre-K3 : Kids had started learning to tell stories... If you wait until that happens before introducing this book before introducing it, then it'll be the right time.

Good addition to our growing library
Obviously, any book that can be good and teach a child a lesson is a fun book. This is that type of book... but my children did not understand what a whopper was. I thought this would be a good book to explain how telling the truth was important before my children began to lie, but they just didn 't understand why Brother and Sister Bear would lie in the first place. It is a good addition to our library, though, and my eldest liked to read it a few times already. It is a good book to emphasize the importance of telling the truth... at least to Mom!

   Easy for kids to understand
Cute story that helps explain the importance of telling the truth in terms that small children can understand and easily grasp! Almost 5 years old, and they loved it.

   Good meaning, quite wordy
The overall storyline of this book was great. The overall storyline of this book was great. I bought this because my 3.5 year old started to lie and I'm trying to discourage him from doing this. This book was VERY wordy for my fairly patient child. A simpler story could have been more beneficial for the audience because it was a lot of trouble to sit through for any child. I was very over it halfway as an adult.

   Great truth book!
Books and shows about the truth are so hard to find! This is so far the best I have found. It is pretty basic, but it gets the point across in away my child can understand. The parents break and the children go out rules that were already established. These rules are relatable because they are ones we have in our home as well. When the parents come home, they try to lie about what happened and the parents talk to them about why this is bad and the truth is important. Simple to the point, but I will also continue to look for more.

Great story, 5 year old understood it right away
I got this for my five year old to use it as a tool for facilitating discussion about honesty, etc. As with other BB books it is great for blending life lessons into a children's story. My child picked up on the storyline and message right away and we had a great chat about telling the truth. I am a little frustrated that this is the second BB book I bought on Amazon in mediocre shape. The cover is not properly stapled to the book, so the cover is misaligned with the rest of the pages. The binding consists mainly of staples that easily loosen. The book ends up looking like a hot mess within a week. If there was a better presentation, these family BB books could be considered wonderful treasures!
