   Purchased with Doctor's Kit . . . Great Addition!
My daughter purchased this to go with the doctor's kit that she also purchased. Our grandson turned three and aa a reward for learning all the letters and all the sounds, she received both of these. She LOVED it absolutely. She brought it with her when she visited so that she could take care of all of us, including the pets. We all received checkups, had our blood pressure and temprature taken, received our shorts and were just generally told that we were in great shape. The book helped her learn how all the instruments used in the case were determined by the doctor in the case. Great addition to go with the Doctors Kit or to help Chldren with their trips to the doctor.

   Great for 2.5-4 year olds
We have this book and I purchased it twice now as a gift. I include a doctors - kit as a gift for a three year old, both times a hit. It very simply goes through what will happen during a check-up, and my boys copy it and play Doctor using things they learned in the book as well as real experiences. It talks about shots, I think it adresses them well.

Always a good choice for kids
My granddaughter is in a Berenstain-Bear phase and it is nice to find some of the less familiar books for her.

I Took One Quick Glance at the Drawing Next To Me . . .
I was in the seventh grade and the new girl to my left, MARION NEEDHAM, drew some trees and I knew in an instant that she was destined to be an artist. We are both old fogies now and it is with great joy and respect that I can buy this book for my Norwegian cousin David's grandson. Marion Needham Krupp's specialty is Scottie dogs, and except for the magnetic metal ones in black and white, which we kept under the Christmas tree in a round mirror, I have never been fond of Scotties. I bought Albert Payson Terhune's books here on Amazon. com! You have to be pretty callous not to love a Teddy Bear, so this is the book for Gunda's grandson, along with a snappy TUXEDO, also bought on Amazon. com.

   Childhood Memories
My favorite books were the Berenstain Bears as a child. When my husband and I started our family, the first books I looked at were the Berestain Bears collection. I couldn t wait to share these books with my children.

   Great!
My wife was looking for a book to help our grandson relax. These books by Berenstain Bears were always a favorite of our children. Great memories as the years pass by.

Our 6- and 4-year-old grandchildren enjoyed this book
This is a great book for introducing children to the process of going to see the doctor. Many aspects of a doctor's visit are covered, including many aspects of a medical visit. But most important in COVID is the process of getting a vaccination portrayed and children learn that it is quick and not usually painful. This book will help them to be brave the next time they have to get a shot. My granddaughter was teaching me that getting a vaccination is quick and easy and you hardly notice what is going on!

   Storyline
The story didn 't attract my 2nd grandson, since this is the age where they probably did not like to go to the doctor.

   Love the bears
My child chose this book because it was on the back of one of the other books we have been reading. The classic Berenstein bears.

Not the book to read for Dr. Visits
The messaging around the shots is archaic, but how the father handles going to the doctor as something he is above and sends the wrong message to children. I recommend that lions are not afraid of shots if your little one is scared of shots instead.
