One of my favorite Berenstain Bear books!
We love the Berenstain Bear books, but this is one of our favorites. In this story, Sister Bear is a tag-along with Brother and his friends and they don't mind until she starts winning all the games and is a boastful kid. The boys begin to exclude her and make a clubhouse in which girls are not allowed to enter. The princess moves on to make her own clubhouse for girls. The wise Mama Bear says she might not have been excluded for being a girl, but explains how she acted when she won because she was a kid. Realizing this, the two girls decide to include the boys. It's great book for the stage when boys and girls realize they are different and begin to exclude each other.

Good Book, my daughter made me buy every one ...
My daughter made me buy every one for her and she reads them to me before bed. The lessons in these books should be mandatory reading for adults when they turn 21, making the world a more friendly place, he said.

   Six-year-old kindergartener...
I really, really like it, Taylor said. I like it because I like how they're learning to make things fair, Tunick said. The reviewer was 6 years old.

   the great cookout
I was probably about seven or eight when I read this book. It really sparked my imagination, Raymond said. At 25, I still remember the clubhouse and the cook-out with the salmon and the honeycomb. For it to be this memorable almost 20 years later has to mean something.

   Still a great book
I had a book of this when I was a kid. She's a boy, and I bought it for her because she's a mom. We thought it was a good idea, Mr. Rule told the judge. Her son has enjoyed it, too, his mom said.

A favorite from my own childhood to share with my children.
I've had this book for years and it's just perfect for our 7 year old son. My 4 year old daughter LOVES it! It also comes with quite a few stickers that I thought were nice. Even if you're not a doctor, I would highly recommend it for children that young.

   Good teaching
Coca-Cola said in a statement it "loves the story." He also said that despite the differences, people should learn to be humble at the same time. Even adults can learn this.
