   Thin pages
This is the same book I grew up in, but the pages are terribly thinnish. I would prefer thicker pages and no stickers so that the book will hold up to love a 2 year old will show it. I bought this for my son to try to get him used to the idea of a dentist before we went for the first time...I changed the words when my brother mentioned tooth yanking... no need to make a poor child terrified about tooth pulling.

   Yeah I know; it's a little-kids' book!
I am getting dental implants. A painful process for a senior citizen.. or even a little kid! I bought a few of these for my DENTIST, here in GERMANY. I think his grand-children will enjoy learning a little ENGLISCH like their opa. We'll see. . I enjoyed reading these two books!

   Great to Prepare Child for Dentist Visit
I bought this book to read before my two-year-old went to the dentist. She was really into it and did great at her dentist appointment! The workers were impressed with all the workers. I would recommend this book to help prepare your child for their first dentist visit. I would recommend this book to help prepare them for their first appointment.

   Good introduction to the dentist
While this does not show every detail about a check up, shows a cavity pulled and a baby tooth fixed, it does go over most of the tools they use or could use. The tools that are pointy and show me more as a child were scared and I think that's a nice buffer. My daughter loves this book and did great at her first dentist appointment. She was super excited to tell the dentist about the story too.

   Nervous Child
This book was a great addition to the few that I picked to help my 6-year-old fight his nervousness for the dentist. He seemed to like the story and helped him greatly with his fear. I also had him see a Youtube video on visiting the dentist in preparation for a cavity filled.

   Helped the first dentist visit go more smoothly
This book was nice as it touches on the fears that children can have with the dentist and shows them a nice dentist, the type of equipment that one sees in a dental office and what happens if one gets a cavity. Reading this a few times to my toddlers helped them feel like they knew what they were stepping into. This was one of the books that was actually suggested by our pediatric dentist.
