These books, which are a compilation of several Dr Seuss books, are such a deal, and the Big Red Book of Beginner Books is no exception. You could easily buy each of these books separately and spend $8-12 book, or you can get all these books at a much better price. This RED Book includes newer books as well as older books I loved since I was a child - top of That Ball - I Want To Be Somebody New - Sam and the Firefly - The Very Bad Bunny - The Digging - Book The Rose Horse. I enjoyed reading these books to my 3 year old daughter, one at a time at bedtime each night, and she loved it too! With these books you can get all 5 colors, red, blue, orange, green, purple and practically have a little library of Dr Seuss! We have already all 5! A great addition to any book collection of children and saves you a little money.

Together with two others of the same name, Bought this book. I have a 5 yr old daughter and a 6 year old son who is learning to read and practicing with the reading they know. I would definitely recommend to anyone with younger children who are looking for some first grade books. Apparently, these books can have a very long - lasting fond memory for your children. My daughter keeps on wanting to read them over and over again and gets better and better each time.

We bought both the Big Blue 'Green books for our toddler, so I decided to also bring this red book. My toddler enjoys reading the stories from this book as much as he enjoyed the Blue's Green books.

Great addition for Seuss fans!
Derived From Web , Jan 3, 2021
Purchased as a surprise for my toddlers, who absolutely require multiple stories before bedtime. We have a number of books by Dr Seuss and were pleased with this addition. I noticed that it really compliments adds to some of the stories from the Big Blue Book of the Beginner Books ''. Funny Bunny, Spot from Put me in the Zoo '' and possibly the same boyartist from A Fly Went By ''. The stories are very cute and imaginative, which my toddlers enjoy 1.5 and 3. I recommend this for any library of a young child.

You may have some splainin’ to do and not the good kind. Buyer beware
Derived From Web , Sep 19, 2020
Most likely a product of the time they were written, there is remarkable cruelty and bullying, especially in the digging dog story. It went so far as the characters suggested drowning a dog for being bad. I had to stop mid-read with my three year old and decide what to say instead of reading it to him. Shocking and disappointed that this kind of story was ever acceptable, but buyer be warned. Maybe you read at the library before you buy if you don 't want to be reading to your children stuff like this.
