All one needs to launch the journey into a long and healthy life!
I was heartened to know the Blue Zones concept had been so thoroughly researched so that the'secrets' to longevity in these five areas were laid out in a sensible, easy-to-follow format. The work preperation for accommodating one's lifestyle into a personal, Americanized version of Living Well is also in place. Along with the book, the entire plan is doable and highly beneficial. A very useful reference and an entertaining reading.

   Just okay…lacks depth
I enjoy the stories about the different blue zone people and their lives, but trying to turn those studies and stories into an actual equation for longer life is a stretch. I do love the connections made to your health about community and building better relationships, but all the rest has been said before and in much more depth, she said. The book promises to be founded on strong empirical evidence but that is not the case when talking about diet. If you're looking for ways to improve your diet and improve your health there are far better books and people to study from than just some "because a 100 year old did it." I did find a few good recipes so there is that, and I very much appreciate the go ahead to drink wine, but again this is not new. I would suggest this to someone very new to self-help books, who is looking for a different slant on the healthy lifestyle.

wasn't what I thought it would be
Wanted more recipes. Disappointed with the outcome of the proceedings.

   Pitiful excuse for a book
New information, just a re-hash of common knowledge. A mere 2.5 per cent of PC sales is attributed to memory chips. Kroger is seeking federal funds to repair the gas pumps, according to the Web site www. kroger. com. It's a free book, but apparently Amazon doesn't have one.

   0 star is more appropriate
Only 11 pages of that book are actually useful, and lots of questionariestests that don't even exist. The rest of the information is available on the internet. I was under the assumption that the book would contain more receipts that those 11.
