A Moral primer for all people
This book teaches the importance of responsibility, courage, compassion, loyalty, friendship, persistence, hard work, self-discipline and faith. This book would be a valuable tool for parents to be able to answer all those difficult questions that children tend to ask. It will help children develop a strong and moral character as they grow up. This book has stories, commentaries and poems by some of the greatest classical authors of all time, ranging from simple stories of philosophy from Aristotle and Plato to stories by booker T. Washinton and poems by Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson and Fables from Greek mythology and Aesop. These are some of the greatest literary works.

Read this to your kids, then, read it again.
This book reminds you of how to manage your life with decency and honor. It is refreshing to read events that make you think of others instead of focusing on your own self, self, self-images, and selfishness. It always surprises me how much kids love the stories within this book, as they are presented with clear ideas of how to think and behave with a conscience. This morning, something sorely lacking.

Great book. Even more so for adults!
I've always wanted adults to read this book. I believe that children should be taught, but I do not see how adults can grow up and be so absent from their lives. Apart from my children, I read it by myself and I still see areas that I need to mature ''.

   Book Shelf Basic
This is a book that would be helpful not only for parents, but also for teachers, Sunday School teachers and pastors who have a child's time available for reference. A collection of basic favorites and classics, as well as new stories to illustrate basic values, often lacking in much modern writing.

One of three books every family should read to their children
Every family needs three books to read to their children : this book, The Moral Compass, and the Holy Bible. I have read them all many times to my children and their favorites.

Various stories for adults and children...
It does have some good stories in it, but I haven 't yet read them all.

Author Should Reread His Own Book
Trump does not reflect any of the virtues discussed in Bennet's book and Bill Bennet's comment on that is that critics are acting morally superior. Be true to the self of Thine... The best policy is Honesty. Is that just a lip service, Mr Bennet?

   Product not as advertised
No idea yet if the book is good, but the seller Cozy Shades listed this as a new book and is in good used condition at best.
