Perfect for those new to property management
The book is easy to read and about managing rental properties. It has a good mix of both basic property management for those new to the business and a few helpful hints for those that have been doing this for a while. I knocked it down a star because it was a bit basic, but it would be great for those with a few units or just starting out in property management. If you have more experience, you could probably take it or leave it, but there are enough original ideas that it is worth the read.

   Don't get the Kindle version
The book is good, but the format of the book is not worth the purchase price. The tables and charts in the Kindle version are difficult to read, and the bonus book which contains material referenced constantly throughout the book is not included for those who purchased it through Amazon.

   A good pep talk. A bit dated…
I don't want to slam the book. It is a great read if you need a pep talk. Pricing, renting and identifying a good market location could have been done better. The book could have been a bit deeper without adding too much print. Bulletin points can work. That's what's being said. The book is old. There are online posting sites that are not always free. There is no discussion about security systems. A conversation about write offs and upgrades could help. I didn't come away with any more knowledge from the read.

A very enjoyable read for this interested in this genre and well presented
This is a genre that I am interested in and would like to know more about it. The author expresses themselves well. I would recommend this book to people who want to have a better understanding of this topic or people who already have an appreciation of it. Highly recommend this author and seller. The shipping and handling was new and presented well.

   Dry read, some good info
I found the book very dry and not helpful, and maybe I managed rental property for too long before getting around to reading it. I was skipping pages and sections to get to the new information.

   Actionable practical advice
After listening to a lot of the podcasts, I bought this book after renting it. The best $20 dollars I' ve spent in months is the book, it has removed so much uncertainty that I had before purchase. Brandon and Heather have already learned the hard way so I don't have to listen to them. The sections on tenant screening and how to develop systems to turn my rentals into a small business were the best. The tenant screening process was easy for me thanks to the advice I received from the Google Voice account and I feel more knowledgeable about the property than I have in my entire life.

Detailed Account of Renting Properties with Stories
The book was purchased to learn more about rental properties. I thought I might be interested in renting some properties. The book explained what licenses were required in order to manage rental properties. The book gives you examples on how to deal with customers, renters, and gives resources to check out on licensing in different states.

   Excellent, Concise and Even Entertaining
My wife and I were accidental landlords a long time ago when we were stuck with a mortgage on a house in a tough sellers market. We know that we could have done a better job. We are getting within a decade of retirement age so we decided to get into the business. The book has been a great resource for us as we learn. I don't agree with the idea that the content is basic, but I have seen some critiques that do. It is written well. I didn't feel that any of the segments I read were useful. Links to document templates and information about regs in specific states are what I like the most. The personal anecdotes about the writers' experiences add a punch that one would expect to be boring. I think this book is a good gift for a rental newcomer like me. I highly recommend it.

   Thorough & Actionable
Most real estate books are similar to this one. Many others read like sales pitches, repeating how great real estate is and how you' ll get rich if you own it. There is a book about action. It is a handbook. Do it. There are some resources you need. These are common pitfalls to watch out for. Here are the alternatives and why they are better for certain situations. Thank you for that!

Spend a few bucks on a book to save many from avoiding mistakes
I' ve read this book three times and my wife has only read it once. We have complied our rental program system based on the knowledge we have gained from this book and the forms available on his online site. I' ve read other books, but this one is the best for rental advice. I am new to being a landlord, but I am excited for it.
