The Cajun Vegan Cookbook: A Modern Guide To Classic Cajun Cooking And Southern-Inspired Cuisine is 250 pages long.
Best Cookbook Ever!
Derived From Web , Jan 23, 2022
My husband gave this cookbook to me for Christmas and I absolutely love it. It has the ALL the classics we grew up with plus so many more delicious must-trys. These days I normally stick to a vegan way of eating, so I sometimes make healthy adjustments to the recipes, like baking instead of deep frying or omitting the oil, but this is a go-to when company is coming or when you just want to treat yourself a little.

Amazing!
Derived From Web , Jan 14, 2022
I have a book out of school that I absolutely love. I'm so excited that Krimsey made this book, and her restaurant was amazing, too, I think. AmazingChefs Kissed by Criss shows off their culinary skills.

Just received and first page is ripped.
Derived From Web , Jan 3, 2022
The cover is ripped off and the first page is blank. We're still working on the recipes, we're not saying much. This was considered ok to send a direct message to a customer, the writer said.

Finally, Cajun food at home!
Derived From Web , Dec 19, 2021
This book is so beautiful, I couldn't put it down. From the shiny purple pages to the photographs of the recipes, it's amazing. The recipes are clearly written, and the photos are stunning. My favorite part of the book is the fact that Krimsey writes little notes about each recipe, either talking about how she developed it, where she got it or the history of the dish. I bought one for myself and two for my wife to give as Christmas gifts. I'm betting I'll be buying a few more for birthday gifts!

Essential American Vegan Cooking!
Derived From Web , Dec 17, 2021
I was excited to hear that Krimsey was writing a cookbook that collected recipes she created at her restaurant, The Boudin. I have made many of her recipes, including her King Cake recipe, from scratch. Before I became a vegan, I was a huge fan of Cajun cooking. The book is beautifully put together and includes a great primer on pantrypan seasoning and lingo. For me, this book will be what I point at when people ask how I am able to cook and eat good food while following the vegan lifestyle.

Echo the other great reviews, plus makes a great gift!
Derived From Web , Dec 12, 2021
Great recipes with thoughtful commentary, and the production quality is so beautiful that I have now bought a few extra copies to give as gifts. It would also make a worthy coffee table book with its inspiring photography and shiny purple edges. Anyone who wants to get into cooking, or who is vegan or vegetarian, or from the South, should read this book. The format would suit chefs of all experience levels. I'm sure I'll be buying a few more as gifts. I've only tried one recipe so far -- fig and sweet potato cookies -- but they were amazing. Feeling compelled to write this review before the holidays. I'm so glad I bought this book.

Amazing!!! Must Buy!!!
Derived From Web , Dec 1, 2021
I used to love to eat there, Mr. D'Antonio said. The food was delicious, Mr. Dhaliwal said. The restaurant closed during filming of the CBS film. I have been waiting months for this book to come out. I love the pictures, the costumes are so fabulous. I have made the Dirty Rice, Corn and Baked Potato Chowder and the Hearts of Palm Nuggets with Ginger Cocktail Sauce! It's just amazing to me how they put it all together. I highly recommend this book to anyone. I can't wait to try more! I'm going to try the jambalaya this weekend. Added to the list on June 12, 2001. It was so good, said Fatimah. Other tried recipes include the Corn Atchafalaya and the Fried Dill Pickles with Cajun Sauce Ranch. Do die! I have made every recipe I can think of that has been outstanding. The recipes are well written and easy to follow, making them a must-have for any kitchen.

a one of a kind cookbook
Derived From Web , Nov 26, 2021
With every imaginable recipe now available online, why not buy cookbooks? It's great to be free, but first, to avoid those terrible ads and pop-ups that fund the "free" food blogs, and second, for inspiration. This book does not disappoint, well crafted from corner to corner, to awaken the voodoo in all of us. Whether you're a novelist, short story writer or memoirist, Witt's writing is fun and authentic. I made the green bean casserole and a crawshroom pie for Thanksgiving, both huge hits with the mix-etarian fam. One of many details that I noticed as I unboxed and leafed through the book. I won't spoil anything else. If you're in the market for an upleveling to your vegan cooking, or you know someone who could use one, pull the trigger on this.

wonderful cookbook
Derived From Web , Nov 24, 2021
I already loved eating at Krimsey's restaurant in L.A., so this cookbook was long anticipated and doesn't disappoint. Now I get to cook my favorite meals from her restaurant, so many more. The book comes with a lot of pictures and tips, easy to follow and makes a great addition to my cookbook collection, Lefebure said. It's going to be a Christmas present for friends who eat vegan.

So good I could eat the book itself!
Derived From Web , Nov 24, 2021
Television images could not be loaded. Besides the delicious recipes, it's got pizazz, quality binding and pages, providing many options for gluten-free allergies, substitutions for popular food items you never knew you could cook without and more! There is, however, a little story attached to every recipe. Even if you are not vegan, this book has so many things you will love to eat, even if you are not. This is an authentic Louisiana Cajun twist on the jambalaya.
