I buy one copy for me and one for my granddaughter
Calvin and Hobbes loved reading my sons. I did too. After the comics ended, we purchased several of the books so that we could return to our favorite strips. My son and his wife and his granddaughter live more than 2,000 miles from me. I will order a copy of Calvin for her and one for me. If we talk on the phone, we laugh together over our favorite strips. Though she is under ten, she enjoys the Calvin books, plus the strips make her ponder actions and consequences, especially when she has to use her imagination to think about what happens after the last image ends in the strip with Calvin ready to pounce.

   Great gift!
I purchased this book for my 11 year old for Christmas, and a few other Calvin's Hobbes books. Every night he loves to read them in bed. They are funny and educational, as the comics contain some words or ideas that my son does not know.

Spaceman Spiff is a True Superhero
On Sundays, Spiff sees life through the extraordinary eyes of Calvin and more. He solves his home and school problems -- which, as we know, is abound. Here there is more than Spiff Spaceman. It is the playful imagination of a boy who is trying to get through his sixth year. I read them over and over again. They are funny every time, as it is with all Calvin and Hobbes. Calvin and Hobbes's time drawing Bill Watterson is sadly over. Fortunately, we have this collection to tide us over. Anthony Trendl is a treefortbooks. com.

   sooo funny
This is for sarcastic relief this got this. I'm 79 and have been reading this silly myself. He was so grateful and I am so proud to be able to get these books. Got all the books that make up a complete set. My husband, who is 83 and has dementia, even enjoys these books.

I've loved Calvin and Hobbes since childhood
Since childhood, I have loved Calvin and Hobbes, and my father also got into them. When he fell sick with Alzheimer's, he loved to read the pictures and look at what he could from them. Bringing a smile on my father's face made me happy, while he slowly lost his mind, and these did the trick!

   Just the Sunday Comics
These are all part of the same books for most part, but it's Calvin and Hobbes. I love the satire, the dry wit, how Calvin's language is that of an experienced adult, but his actions are that of a six-year-old. His imagination allows for some of the funniest comics I have ever read. When I need an escape, I read and re-read these. I wish Bill would have drawn more, but I understand why he didn 't. Calvin and Hobbes recommend anything high.

We love Calvin, but book falls apart
The children LOVE the content but the publishers should be ashamed. From the moment the book arrived and we opened the first page, the pages began to fall out. Every time a page fell out, it was turned. We are returning for a refund because I don 't trust the other copies to be of better quality.

I bought this to read to my children to help them discover the love and magic of everybody's favorite suburban boy and tiger, and I was almost immediately disappointed with the low quality of the binding. It has not been abused or molested the way that books are often read in bed together after three years of unsupervised service, and under this light duty the pages began immediately to separate and the spine. She loves it so much that she didn 't want to be without it, so I had the local Officemax Guillotine cut the binding and spiral bind it for $5.00 bit, but was still unexpected, unacceptable, and inconvenient.

Content is great! The comics by Calvin and Hobbes are enjoyable for the whole family. The book is made, however, cheaply. After the second day, the pages started falling out of the book. A few days later, about 20 pages have come loose and have fallen out. When you feel that your money has been spent on poor materials, frustrated.
