Novel in Verse that pulls you in and doesn’t let go
A wonderful story of a teen girl dealing with trauma and loss. One lesson in managing love received from those who are struggling with trauma and loss themselves. Loved this book, said Blair. It's perfect for middle schoolers reluctant to pick up a book.

   Survival and Emotion
Classic survival story for middle-grade readers reminiscent of the "Harry Potter" series. Though I was drawn in from the start, I found the book to be very well written and moved quickly through the book.

It was so good that I read the whole thing in one afternoon!
I fell in love with this book from the first line. It was a beautifully written, suspenseful and heart-breaking story of a young woman's quest to find her true love.

   6 stars
I had no idea that this story would change the world of my life, or that it would be told by a single dad. This is very far beyond the intended age group but I have enjoyed all of Dusti's books. It was written well and I would have liked to give it 6 stars.

   What a great book!
I really enjoyed this book, said Blair. The way it was written, the meaning of the story, Raymond said.

   Different, good
My boys and i love Dusti, but none of us are poets or artists. Thus, we enjoyed being introduced to a world we typically don't venture into and, of course, enjoyed the underlying story. We're not big fans of pretentious writing, so we prefer regular prose. DB2 is looking forward to the next release, said Frank Quattrone, DB2's senior vice president.

A fateful trip including poisonous snakes, scorpions, and other torment!
I've read the book and enjoyed the novel in verse. Pataki's family has been ripped apart by a random restaurant shooting. As a way to escape their grief and celebrate rock climbing they did as a family, but did not prepare for a flash flood to whisk them apart, they said. In "The Order of the Phoenix," a young woman named Nora battles scorpions, snakes, poisonings and even the Beast that haunted her after her mother's death. I could not put this book down, I loved the spare yet spine tingling of the language as Nora looks for her father. Her journey makes her stronger, she wants to reconcile with her best friend, return to school and live life like before. This is a middle school book, but YA would love this book as well! A must read.

   Pulse pounding
In "A Whole New Beginning," Howard Reichert depicts how a person's will to live and to save a loved one cannot be denied.
