   Healthy Thinking 💭
I don't give a 5 star review because I agree with everything in the book. This is a very thought provoking book and I am giving it 5 stars. This challenge the mainstream thought and the vegan fad which questions common beliefs like "an apple a day is good for you" or "red meat is bad". I agree with Saladino on many things but disagree on a few others, however I am glad I was given a new perspective on nutrition. I will be eating nose to tail for the rest of my life. We need more people who can think outside the box, even if he is right or wrong.

   It's going to turn what you thought you knew about the diet upside down.
I've been doing intermittent fasts for over four years. There is a group that has over 75,000 members. Before you start reading this book, I'm going to suggest to you a few things. It explained some of the things I've experienced with the science. This is a must read if you are thinking about going to a diet. Way to go Doc. Great job! It was!

   GREAT READ
I enjoy how Paul presents information. The science was all there with no yawn. Information is great. My health keeps improving after I switched to a carnivore diet about eight months ago. Any woman who has night sweats can agree to the fact that the last of my menopause symptoms has been eliminated. It's time to do your own research, rather than believing the nutritional dogma that has taken us on an ever increasing epidemic of Obesity, type II diabetes, and shortened life spans with lower quality of life.

   I’m a believer
Dr Saladino's explanation of history and science made me a believer. I mowed through most of it in 3 days. It answered a lot of the questions I had and the last couple chapters helped me get started.

   Made Me Feel Worse, Not Better
I am 49 years old and in excellent physical shape. I eat an organic whole food diet. I was on the diet for a month. I can only say that I felt like I was 10 years old. My joints got worse, my energy level got worse, and my mood got worse. I felt like I was falling apart. It was such a bad experience that I felt compelled to share it, even though I realize that's only one person's reaction. Over the past couple of weeks, I've gone back to my normal diet of a mixed diet, supplements, green tea, and other things.

   A help in understanding carnivore.
What I have read so far has made me think. I have a better understanding of why Dr. Saladin supports the carnivore lifestyle. This helps me understand why I eat meat. I eat a lot of meat in a heavy way. The book helped me understand why some vegetables don't suit me. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in eating a diet with animals.

   Disappointed Carnivore
I thought this would be a good book to read as I am interested in the health benefits and consequences of eating only animal products. The book begins with Dr. Saladino describing his life after college and not knowing what to do with it. He finishes his medical degree and goes back to school. He ends up in the Psychiatry profession after he interns. He went from vegan to paleo. I think this book was written to impress his friends. This book is full of information that a woman who is well researched can't understand. If you enjoy a lot of jargon, then you should buy the book. I think it's a waste of money.

   Objective research
I bought the book to support Saladino. He is doing great work. He is looking for the truth no matter what it is. I feel that he is objective in his research. If something went wrong with his research and diet, he would tell us instead of hiding it and allow millions of others to get sick. This book is for people who need convincing to try a new drug. May the truth about the nutrition be revealed.

   Please make a documentary called Game Winners!
It doesn't mean it's right just because it's accepted. The book shows that something might be the answer. I came with an open mind to see what the buzz was about, even though I was skeptical and critical. I was glad I did. There are answers to the puzzles I have tried to untangle in my work as a nutrition therapist. This information is clear and concise. It might change the way you look at the diet riddle.

   Sometimes the truth hurts... A lot.
It's hard to argue with facts, and once the books references are checked, it should be clear that we've been deceived by the food pyramid. That's putting it well. If you're a crazy vegan, do some research into what this book has to say. Dr. Paul's explanation of our ancestral history shows that we're from the same family as lions. You're beyond help if you refuse to understand or downplay where we came from. Good luck with that. A former plant based is now a carnivore.
