Fun Lesson to be learned

I remember this in song form from when I was a kid, Mr. Dhaliwal said. The book is a great introduction to persistence, even in the face of doubt and discouragement. The difference is that the book has 11 rather than a dozen chapters, and the two are great companions. Just about everything about the song "Kid's Life" will set records. Note the music license number. There are several record covers on this page. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to find the file. The speaker has a microphone and can hear about a minute of the song. The book is well worth the read.

The granddaddy of all picture books in America
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
In his Ruth Krauss and Me, author Maurice Sendak says that perfect picture book, The Carrot Seed, the granddaddy of all picture books in America, a small revolution of a book that permanently transformed the face of children's book publishing. The Carrot Seed, with no word or a picture out of place, is dramatic, vivid, precise, in every detail. It's a parody, said Blair, referring to the real world of children. This timeless classic has been known and loved by children and parents for decades. The boy's parents, competition and his big brother all tell him that his carrot will not grow. After a long time of pulling weeds, watering and patience the carrot finally grows. Ruth Krauss was born in 1901 and is the author of A Hole Is To Dig. I'll Be You and Me" is the first album cover to feature Carole King. A photo of Charlotte and the White Horse has been added to the Web site. Many, if not all, children's classics are still being written.

I love this book
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I've read all the books, but this is by far the best. This one is much simpler and shorter, but has a great moral value. My daughter absolutely loves the book. It's quite short and simple, so definitely more appropriate for younger children, he said.

A great book to for a new reader
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I'll never forget the book, which was the first book I ever read all by myself. It was the 60th anniversary of its publishing and I immediately felt old, and then bought it for my friend's baby. Young readers with repetitive phrases and words will find this book a great introduction to reading.

The Carrot Seed is great for youngsters who are involved in planating!
Derived From Web , Jun 10, 2021
I'm familiar with the book from when I was a teacher. The recipient of the "gift" was a little girl who at a zoom meeting I attended with her father, was so excited, telling him about the plant she had just planted. The Carrot Seed was the perfect present, Ms. Dhaliwal said. She had a very good reputation," her Dad said of the book.
