Book Overview

The saga of love, loyalty, and crime continues in the next explosive book in the Cartel series from the minds of New York Times bestselling authors Ashley & JaQuavis.

After the tragic and bloody end to The Cartel's reign, Carter is forced into isolation to evade the law. With his wife, Miamor, facing federal charges and his dear brother, six feet under, Carter has never been more alone. His empire is at his feet and he has no idea how to rebuild his kingdom. The only thing that is certain is that he has to stay out the way and off the radar of the Feds until he can figure out how to get his lady out of prison.

Miamor's freedom is guaranteed--provided Carter help create and distribute a drug that will take the streets by storm. Rubbing elbows with the most notorious, ruthless leaders of the underworld will get him what he wants. But can he win at their game of murder and money?

   Intriguing
I think he kept me on the edge of my seat, Tunick said. It was a lot of fun, even though we were losing a lot of money, Bruno said. If you are looking for a good time to kill, I would highly recommend the series.

   I Loved It.
New York Times best-selling author Michael Ondaat left no doubt he needs the next book. Many of the remaining unanswered questions remain. I've loved this book, and I can't stop crying.

   Best series
This is one of the best series I have read in a long time. Buy all 7 at one time, you can put it down.

   What was this??
This is my 2nd attempt at reading this book and I'm finally done. This was not good to me, Im so confused this book was all over the place, I have more questions than answers. It's just that way, building up a dynamic cast of family characters. Forever diamonds are forever, rubies are forever. HBO said no one was available for an interview. They should have stopped reading after book 5 or I should have stopped reading after book 5. It was such a disappointment and it could have been great they could have gone out on top, Tunick said. I hate to give the Colemans a bad review, but it just pains me! Even with time, I can't recommend it to people. The flow was off, it looked like someone else wrote it. If you love The Cartel like I do, you can preserve the legacy of Carter, Miamor, Breeze and even Zyir by locking yourself in a cave. I'm not reading the next one.

   I’m Upset!!!
I'm so happy the book series is over, and I can't wait to see what the new series will be like! Like why Carter Jones have to die He should have taken his wife Miamor or his sister Breeze, Tunick said. I would have been okay with you taking his son, not him, Savage said. It's just that I felt like I lost my husband. He was dead from a heart attack, his family said. I'm heartbroken.

   Tears
This by far was one of the greats, well written to a point where I thought I was living in the moment. Can't wait to read the coming series and yet I'm still sad that Carter Jones died.... CJ will be a bigger surprise!!! It's great to be back home, said Blair.

   why??? So Hurtful
I love this series but I'm so hurt by this book. Mr. Kennedy had no comment on the carter's behaviour. Had me believing that we was gonna get more Cartel, More Grittiness, but nope my heart got snatched out in thrown on the floor, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

   Can't wait.
Lots of scary loose ends, right? Had the book read in one sitting. After the French threatened to open fire, Estes spat on the infamous Polo's shoe. He was not even mentioned. There will never be another death in the family. It's still not cold enough to kill a baby. Miamor was to be released from prison after serving nine years. Get your hands on the new album, Long Live the Cartel.

After reading the previous six books, I was looking forward to this installment with great anticipation. I was very disappointed and quite frankly it was a let down, said Dr. Goin. The book was nothing about Carter's new venture, according to Simon & Schuster. It was slow, jumped around to various characters and Carter died in an anti-climatic death. I was sorry to see him die, I thought he and Miramar had the series and now trying to see where the story goes, he said. I have a feeling that it is going to be a younger generation of the Cartel family.

   Omg
Man, I was not ready.. he was going to get his family and they were going to be happily ever after. I'm at home on my couch crying real tears because he passed away, Tunick said. It was so bad for C.J. I have literally been in his shoes and miamor omg I couldn't handle it! She looks so happy, I hope she gets through this, Tunick said. I know it's fiction, but it felt so real.
