The Chancellor: The Remarkable Odyssey Of Angela Merkel is 368 pages long.
A serviceable biography

Even if she did manage to get her way, Merkel would have to make the biographer's job very difficult.

A Great Lady

Angela Merkel was Chancellor of Germany from 1997 to 2001. She studied Russian, some English, but was primarily scientific culminating in a Ph.D., which she kept in touch with her family and friends through years of hard work. Her legacy is impressive but too broad to discuss here and included improving European unity, liberal immigration policies, trade deals with China and leading on so many issues of the day. 0 51712010 51712070 That is, if she had succeeded in turning the tide of European unity and did not include creating a liberal immigration policy, improving European unity and leading on so many issues of the day. required reading for those who have followed Germany since WWII

The entire world is fortunate this obviously brilliant, moral person served the cause of the German people and democracy during her time in office, he said. I was especially fascinated by the observations on her understanding of and interaction with Putin-two different outcomes for people who spent their formative years under repressive regimes.

More than remarkable
Derived From Web , Nov 23, 2021
This is one of the best biographies of the 20th century. I've known Angela Merkel since she was a teenager. I'm smitten. It would be fun to read about her personal life, but it is refreshing that she has been successful in keeping it off limits. I enjoyed reading how she viewed Donald Trump—and seeing, once again, what a disaster he was for the entire world.

Angela Merkel is greatly honored and revealed in this book
Derived From Web , Nov 14, 2021
As I read this book, I felt as though I knew him. She has always been an enigma, even to me, she said. After reading Ms Marton's book, I feel much more acquainted and edified as to who she is and why she runs her life and politics the way she does. The book and the photos were great.

Insightful - I learned a lot
Derived From Web , Nov 8, 2021
I am reasonably informed but have not learned something new on every page. Even those in the know will surprise themselves with what they didn't know about the behind the scenes. The author was clear and direct, said Ms. Caramore. A thoroughly enjoyable read, Morgenthau said. She said: "There's just too many good guys."

This book made me spend some time in the company of a woman that I have followed and admired throughout the years, Raymond said. My personal reasons for this are that she is physically and sexually similar to my mother.

Leader of Action

I've read the book, but not the e-book. In both her political and private life, he said. Chancellor Merkel is shown to be a firm believer in the power of deeds over words. Pauley, The New Republic's senior editor, said: "This is a good read. What a great deal for Quattrone to get away with murder, Sax added. Mr. Gest was put off a bit by the chronology. He also tells us that Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder has a strong link to that Lutheran minister's daughter raised in East Berlin under the Stasi's watchful eye.
