These little books are so cute and perfect for a young girl! Each story has a colorful message and the pictures are very sweet and detailed! We will definitely buy more of these cute stories to add to our collection.

I bought this book for my 7 year old granddaughter, Wellie Wishers, who loves horses and loves to read. All American girl books are great for kids. With them you can not go wrong. They teach valuable concepts, history and life lessons, relationship building and love, acceptance and appreciation for others. We have several books by AGWellie Wisher.

   Beautiful illustrations
This book looks not only beautiful, but also has a great message. This book touched on the subject of being scared in certain situations and being able to overcome this fear with support. This was perfect for my six-year-old, who has some anxiety issues and was a great conversation starter about what she can do when she feels like Ashlyn. She received the Ashlyn doll and this book for her birthday and we read the book several times already. We are planning to buy some more books from Wellie Wishers because we are really impressed with this one.

Very colorful pictures and cute! My daughter loves these books so we bought them all for her! They are simpler than the other American Girl books, I recommend for age 6-10 or 1-3!

   Great for 1-2nd grade readers!
They have such beautiful story lines, beautiful pictures and a nice pace to them, which kept my 7 year old breezing through them all summer long! This particular book is her friend's favorite of the series and my daughter already lent it to her a few times and they discuss it often at length. It has really spurred a love of reading for them!
