A beautiful approach to Godly rhythms
He says the book was suggested by a friend as a great springboard into what liturgy looks like in our daily lives. I can't say enough about the tremendous blessing for myself and my family to read this together and put it into practice, Beckham said. However, He added, if our habits dictate how we spend our time and what we do, then we simply need to be the good stewards of those habits by creating ones that stir our affections for Christ. He suggests that people build healthy habits in their lives that lead them to closer intimacy with God.

   Suited for young families.
If you have children, you may want to get into the house earlier.

Good book, but basic teachings most Catholics know
I returned it because it wasn't good, Wheeler said. Thanks for the critique, i agree that technology is wreaking havoc on our souls and minds. Thanks for the tip. But if you aren't catholic already my man I think you should just convert. Living within limits is a virtue, G.K. Chesterton wrote, but they are the walls of a playground.

   Read Epilogue First
Just finished and am going to read it again now that I have read the Epilogue. There is a chapter in the book that is beautiful and meaningful in a different way than the other chapters.

IT IS AMAZING and I highly recommend
I attended a Work Matters conference where Mr. Earley spoke and I was blown away by his message. IT. IS. AMAZING has helped me with my money problems and I highly recommend it. I didn't realize how much my constant connectivity to my phone was causing me to be stressed out and distracted until I read this book, said Dr. Goin. Buy it, read it, try the recommended habits.

Applicable to all walks of life
Three habits change the way we think about life. I look forward to a more productive—yet restful—life through embracing the principles outlined in this book, he said.

Tangible advice to live for Jesus
I have been waiting for this book to come out and excited to finally have my hands on it!!! I have been receiving his email devotions and have read some of his posts before, and he has such good wisdom and insight, said Blair. In a world of vague advice on how to live like Christ, I am thankful for someone who is finally giving specific, tangible ways to spend our time in this short life well and live life for the Lord, he said.

   Go to habit book
I have loved The Common Rule since I was a kid. My pastor challenged me to try some of the habits that he said I could use. I knew I had to read it, Elizabeth. I was so thankful to receive an advanced copy that I bought to give away, Mrs Clinton said. He does an amazing job of presenting tangible daily habits to draw your heart, body, and mind more into alignment with Jesus Christ. If you're looking for daily liturgical habits or want to know why they've helped people for thousands of years, this book is for you.

GREAT BOOK FOR COUPLES AND FAMILIES
This is a great “reset” book of habits for individuals, couples and families, Raymond said. One habit I found the most beneficial has been “scripture before phone,” which has set more positive tones for my days.

   Humble + Helpful + Challenging
I was excited to see this book come out, Melissa. Andy Crouch, the English soccer star, replied to a question on Twitter: "Didn't you hear about The Common Rule? The simplicity and realism of the approach appealed to me immediately. There's such a great and needed mix of humility and vulnerability in the writing, yet it's clear that Earley has given the topic time and studied it. There is much wisdom here, Lord Blackwood told us. I am reading this book with a personal study of Ephesians. It's great to be back home, said Blair. I long to grow, and the idea of seeing the Church come together and mature was an inspiring, big picture, hope-filled view, he said. I think The Common Rule has much to offer us as we move about, he said. It's like taking that big picture, that mature Church with all the inspiration, hope, and longing wrapped in it, and asking how do we live in light of that? What do we do if we want to love God with heart and soul and how do we do that? What do we grow and mature?
