   Very helpful
Easy to follow, and they were actually helpful in a pinch, Ms. Dhaliwal said. Yes, many of the things are very simple. However, when the baby is crying and your head is not working at 100% capacity, any little help is useful. It also covers a long time range, from early babies to late toddlers and kids. There are a variety of choices, and the meals were actually quite liked.

   Five star cookbook!
This book is very good. Turner said he wanted to thank God that Abraham Lincoln was born. Each page has a picture of a child, making this book stand out from the crowd. The top of the page has the age range for the food down to 18. Easy to read of all the steps. Simply put, this is how it works: Just add salt and pepper, and you have a basic, yet easy-to-make, hamburger. He was a big fan of the French food.

   Best Baby/Toddler Cookbook
I have a book out of school that I absolutely love. I trust America's Test Kitchen more than anything else. My 6-month old has had most of the purées so far and I'm thrilled with the results. Easy to follow, the recipes are delicious, too. I look forward to using this as my baby's guide to new foods as she grows older. Though it isn't the best binding, I try to use it on a hard surface. Holding it closed feels flimsier if I'm holding it open.

Definitely a Game Changer for your LO's Tummy
Strong Financial was one of the first to review the book. There are just a few ideas that stand out, Rumsfeld said. We can try out new things every now and then, and still have plenty of ideas to go from there, he said. One thing I found interesting was their suggestions on how to prepare together, he said. It's just that I have to be careful letting our Little Girl get involved with preparing a meal. They absolutely want to help you, but you get that uneasy feeling when they try, like watching a toddler pick up a pet. But this book had plenty of good ideas as far as things to make together, he said. We'd recommend it to other parents.

Perhaps not for super picky eaters
Of course, I would love for them to eat some of these veggie rich foods, but my picky eaters wouldn't have any of it. There are a lot of great healthy options out there that even the pickiest eaters would enjoy. The book offers a wealth of excellent photographs and easy to follow instructions.

Nice variety of carefully tested recipes
At first, I was wondering if I really needed a book of recipes for mashed carrots, but my familiarity with the America's Test Kitchen brand lead me to believe they would do a good job, Melissa said. There are some inventive combos once you get past the basics. Before we can say whether or not this was a good recipe, we have to make sure the recipes work and explain why the recipes work.

   A little disappointed.
I'm a long-time fan of ATK and have collected more than a couple of their books, Mr. Dhaliwal said. Their thoughtful, intelligent approach has always impressed me—and that is why I was so EXCITED about this book. It's just that the kid was too excited. But I had hoped that they would include more information about complementary proteins, building a palate, and healthy living. This is not a book.

Great for families with young ones
Great find, said Dr. Charles Bloom, director of the Naval Research Laboratory. thanks to this cookbook, I was able to figure out how to safely feed him, but also make meals we'd all want to eat. It's great to have the cookbooks, and the recipes are of the quality I've come to expect from America's Kitchen. Also, I love the bright pictures, which my baby also likes to look at.

a must for home made purees!
This is my most used cookbook by far. With infant twins it's too expensive to buy made ready purees and this book makes it so easy to make my own with steaming options in the microwave and stovetop, and large quantities that I can easily freeze into ready to use cubes. The twins have loved all the purees so far - have tried the single ingredient and the combos, Melissa said.

The binding and the recipes were falling apart...
What I expected was healthy and creative and got fruit salad with added sugar, quesadillas that are oil, tortilla, cheese. There may be a fried chicken recipe in there that is chicken, salt and grease, I almost missed it. It's just that the book is written by people who have never cooked anything. That was pretty impressive, right? Yes, I'm returning it and will no longer buy America's Test Kitchen books.
