The ‘Hardcover - 3 volume edition’ is perfect!

The hardback - 3 volume edition is great! Beautiful art reproduction, quality paper and binding! I just wanted to point it out, because I thought the binding was only glue, but I guess that means the Softcover 4 volume edition. The picture in front and back of the books is not a part of the cover, but is part of the picture. Highly recommend! -

Awful manufacturing
Derived From Web , Oct 28, 2020
I had to send this collection back because the books were so bad. Many of the pages are cut wrong, even more are folded over from the corner, and some pages are stuck together. Although the product has great reviews on it, now I look more closely at the one star reviews, I'm not alone in my disappointment with the manufacturing quality of this amazing tome of entertainment that I want to share with my son.

Off-gassing: made in China

The content is wonderful. The product isn't good. The hardcover editions put off a noxious odor that causes headaches and breathing problems, like many large- format color printings made in China. Attempting to air them out, hoping the smell doesn't work, is worse.

Just OK... outer box has been damaged. Will exchange it.
Derived From Web , Jul 12, 2018
The paperback version was ordered. The books look good, but some of the black on the covers is starting to fade. It's ok for people to question the quality of it. My issue is with the box that holds the books in a set, it has a bunch of indents in it made by a pen or something with a point. It seems like this was at the bottom of the barrel for something that was supposed to be a collector's item. I' ll ask for an exchange or a refund.

beautifully bound (pages are sewn
Derived From Web , Jan 10, 2018
Quality paper is bound in a protective slip case. Bill Watterson, the strip's author, wrote a lengthy and interesting write up for the first book. Every page of the printing has a date on it. If you are a veteran Calvin and Hobbies reader this will bring back a lot of fond memories. You' re in for a treat if you' re new to the strip. I have no regrets about buying these volumes. Thank you Mr. Watterson for the great memories.
