I was looking for a guide to build from and recipes for a busy lifestyle. A book of vague info and recipes in a 2 week meal plan that is suited for a stay-at- home mom type that his all day too cook every meal and not realistic for a person with and actual job. I wouldn't make half of the recipes if I stayed at home. Not appetizing.

I was surprised by desserts. I will have to buy a lot of products since I'm a beginner. Almond flour, coconut oil, cocoa powder and shredded coconut are just some of the products. I hope this changes my lifestyle.

The book explains what the diet is. Many of the recipes are not compatible with the Ketogenic diet. I couldn't find many of the ingredients at my local grocery stores. I wouldn't recommend this book to someone just starting out. Unless you know what you can and can't eat.

Two of my doctors recommended against the diet. A short term diet that is quick to lose weight can be compromising to the health of the body's organs. The plan is not in my best interest because of my autoimmune condition. The explanatory section was easy to understand and comprehensive.

The book helped me get started on the diet. Went from 232 to 174 lbs. The author encouraged the use of healthy fats. You must be committed to the diet in order to take a leap of faith. You should read the theory and find some recipes. You should be prepared for the possibility of getting Keto Flu.

I don't see what other people see. Suzanne Ryan has a book called Simply Keto and The Keto Diet is written by Leanne Vogel. The approach to the diet outlined in The Complete Ketogenic Diet for Beginners is not the same approach as that of Leanne, who believes that everyone's diet is different. The Complete Ketogenic Diet for Beginners is a one-size-fits-all approach. I wouldn't have given it a chance if it was my first book. The book is cheaper than the other two, but it isn't worth the money. The pictures alone make Simply Keto or The Keto Diet my #1 choice. Different strokes for different people.

The first week is hard, but it gets easier after a while. I didn't follow the 30 day diet. Look at sugars, grains, and other things. In 3 months. Without much exercise, I lost a bit over 31 lbs.
