   love love love this book
Written by someone who has lived for 15 years without carbohydrate, has desert, appetizer, main dish, side dish, comfort food and even doughnut holes. No wheat flour is only almond. Like most low carb books, no gluten was added. Some great ideas, my family who doesn 't eat low carb adores meals made, they don 't even know that it is low carb. But he talks about it. I use honey or coconut sugar and deal with the carbs. I am diabetic and for me it is more about keeping the sugars in check since we are trying to go prego... Highly recommended, favorite low carb book of my library...

We have tried all his other cookbooks and we have enjoyed all the dishes we have collected. George always provides the best recipes, and this book contains many! Great book for the low carber or for someone who wants to eat fewer carbs without losing the flavor.

   Real recipes you will actually use!!!
This cookbook became a favorite in my family very quickly! He has so many normal and easy recipes... As I turned it, I was surprised at how many things I knew I would actually make! The first day we had that cookbook we made 4 or 5 different things and were all great! He breaks the recipes so easily, breaks each into simple steps and gives tips for modifying each recipe to personalize for specific tastes, even including calories, fat, protein, and carbs for each serving. I made his buttercream frosting and the primary berry muffins, the minute cinnamon bunny muffins, his chocolate Ganache and several of the sides and mixed bowls. ...I never believed that you could bake with Almond Flour and an alternative sweetener and taste good! Since I bought this, my mother, mother-in-law, and sister have all bought one... I have several low-carb cookbooks, but this one kills them all!

This is the simplest cookbook, yet with many creative ideas I can easily implement in my kitchen.

   No serving sizes for the net count? REALLY?
The recipes are not bad. Not too difficult to make, not too terribly difficult. I've seen some people's griped about only net carbs! Yeah, soooo... *whispers* that's the number you want, kids. Whatever bugs me, is what gives it net carbs... what it DOESN'T give you for how much of the dish is. A cup of tea? a sour spoon? The whole bloody thing? What is it? Per serving dimension of is a necessary thing and is not here not. What makes me completely distrust any of the recipes. And other than that, a basic, easy, low carb cookbook. Nothing earth shattering unless you can't summon a poptart without making a demon in the process. I keep it on hand for when I'm at the end of the day for thinking. However, good on the author and his family for sticking to it. For this, Kudos to you all!

   Amazing!
This book is my favorite! I am a college student and these recipes are easy, simple and delicious! I don 't have time to cook for hours and I hate when recipe books have weirdelaborate ingredients - not the case at all this book! The image is of the blueberry muffins, soooo good! Buy this book, you won t regret it. , .

   Best cookbook I own!!
We began to eat low carb to help improve our diets for health reasons, not necessarily weight loss. We cut breads, pastas, rice etc. But struggled with meal ideas. After using it for two weeks, I have tried every recipe I loved. Still used to the taste of baked goods with almond flour and sugar substitute, but I could not be happier with how well this cookbook improved my cooking. The recipe for the barbecue sauce is fabulous. I never buy pre-made again. Can 't wait to try more of these recipes.

   A saving grace for my first month of keto
I'm now doing keto and eventually transition to a more flexible low-carb lifestyle -- the recipes in this book make the transition so much easier. I make enough for leftovers the next day. Directions are easy to follow, pictures are plentiful and there is a lot of variety. Stock up on almond flour and a substitute of your choice on sugar. I order both on Amazon because they are expensive to find in my area. Most of the ingredients aren 't special items - I find most of them at Aldi.
