With his dying words, H--Jacob Portman's final connection to his grandfather Abe's secret life entrusts Jacob with a mission: Deliver newly contacted peculiar Noor Pradesh to an operative known only as V. Noor is being hunted. She is the subject of an ancient prophecy, one that foretells a looming apocalypse. Save Noor--Save the future of all peculiardom.

With only a few bewildering clues to follow, Jacob must figure out how to find V, the most enigmatic, and most powerful, of Abe's former associates. But V is in hiding and she never, ever, wants to be found.

   Rebellion
The action starts immediately, after all the other books have ended in enemy territory. The peculiar children cant be contained in their little bubble of safety when there are people to rescue them and Jacob keeps going on official adventures and otherwise, he said. Like immediately, Microsoft said it would support the move. I think I'm just as excited for that as I was to read it for the first time on my phone.

   Every book gets better.
It's great to see such a passionate group of people, Gillian said. The author can tell a story with suspense, history, and even humor. I love the new look of the magazine. It's great to be back home, said Blair.

   Soooooo FREAKing good!
Leaving you wanting more, the story moves on. I can't wait to watch it all in several movies or a series that depicts the story ORIGINALLY, without changing the book! I am hoping that I can grow old and still know about Portman's life and adventures. As I relate with her, I hope to read about finding her own love and happiness!

   Ah, young love
I didn't care for the teenage love angle, and I'm feeling a bit like this series has run its course, too. There is nothing new to the game, the Web site says. It was great, said Blair.

A Good Installment in the Series
Jacob Portman and his family of peculiars are the subjects of this book. Even die-hard fans of the earlier bioks will not be disapppointed. The plot and new conflicts add some dimension to the narration and the peculiar world of the 19th century. There are some mechanics in the story that were clearly set up for the next installment. Not a big deal, just a little obvious, Garton said. The conclusion of this installment suggests that the next will be very exciting, too.

   Cliffhanger much?!?!
It's a great read, especially in the Riggs style. I've loved the tie in from prior books and the deeper emotional connection with some characters. Yes, I am thrilled about the cliffhanger, only because it means there will be another book to read.

   Print quality poor
We got the book and haven't read it yet, but there is a problem with the printing. There are tons of pictures of animals, and tons of pages with gray stripes down the pages.

   Conference of the Birds
I purchased this book from Amazon. com. All rights reserved by the Conference of the Birds. Miss Peregrine's Children #5 is now available on DVD. Spengler: "Ok, you are killing me! The new loops in America are dangerous and the clue left behind lead to a path that is more perplexing and more dangerous than ever, Raymond said. Now we have book six to go, and we're going to have to wait a few more weeks for book seven. I know this isn't the best review I've ever written, but if I say anymore, you just have to read this series! Some fans will understand.

Seamless addition to book four and the whole series.
The book seamlessly continued where book four ended and gave us a wider view of how this world works with the normal world in today's America. Even if you don't get a sense of this being reality, the writing is excellent and detailed. Not only a perfectly suited YA book but also a fantastic read for adults. Review: This is a must-read.
