Dull
Derived From Web , Feb 15, 2022
This book is the least appealing of the lot and I have read every book in the series. There has been a change in the character. She may have become a bit foolish, but it is not an endearing change. The book is dull, repetitive and lacks local color, so I cannot recommend it. If you haven't read any of the earlier books, you should. I'm not sure if I want to visit with the character in the future if I read more of his adventures. She is not interesting.

The Corpse of St Jame's

I enjoy reading books by Jeanne Dams. I found it a little slow at first. She always writes a murder mystery. Correct for bed time reading.

A fun addition to this series
Derived From Web , Feb 15, 2022
This book is part of a series about a widowed American woman and her new English husband. There is a bit of history in the stories. Quick reads, very pleasant. You can probably guess who did it, but it's set around St James Palace. There is a twist or two.

It was an enjoyable read. It's amazing that we still have books that aren't violent. It was a nice murder.

My kind of mystery is the English story. It's hard to keep my interest in mysteries. Well done!
