love it.. lots of fun.
Derived From Web , Jan 18, 2020
I adore this book. It is so much fun! Very interactive ''. You don't need to draw all the cards and games if you don't need them, but are there for extra fun. I love how the sad and character or crayons continue to grow. I can 't wait for the next one.

Great family book
Derived From Web , Jan 2, 2020
My children loved this book. My 7 year old asked for another book of crayons right after I ordered it. I let her read it as soon as it came in the mail, and she asked her to have it many times. My husband and I enjoyed the jokes in her. My children did not receive some of them quite, but they will soon.

The crayons return to celebrate Christmas.
Derived From Web , Dec 20, 2019
The crayons return to celebrate Christmas with real letters, paper ornaments, a poster, a game and a pop-up tree. I admit, I have a soft spot for this book. I've always gotten a kick out of pulling the Surprises '' to see what is there. Young readers are likely to enjoy this aspect of the book as well. While not as clean and crisp in terms of story as the previous titles, there is still much to be enjoyed here. A fun book for those who can not get enough of Duncan and his crayons and their adventures.

Too many pieces...and no story line
Derived From Web , Dec 10, 2019
We have a 2,4 and 7 year old and there are just too many pieces in this book. Cute ideas, but not practical to entertain children before bedtime. To many loose posters, post cards and other fictitious mail, it would all be lost or ripped within a week. It looks just like they put together something last minute to make some cash off the holiday premise. We have returned it.

This shouldn’t be difficult
Derived From Web , Dec 2, 2019
Feeling sad that this book is not living up to the other. We adore the first original book. But Holy Cow is this book hard to read and super hard to follow. Is it possible to not write colors like peach, silver, beige, to use on white paper? It is physically hard to see, so much tiny small lettering and just generally not an easy story line to follow. Very disappointed ''.

Disjointed reading with easy to lose pieces
Derived From Web , Nov 29, 2019
I don 't want to read this book again. While the idea is wise and reminds me of the Jolly Postman series I loved as a kid, I found this book to be a little irritating. It is a lot of additional text that is small and scribbly making it difficult to read. That made the reading disjointed, combined with the activities. There are A LOT of small pieces of paper for some of the envelopes that are bound to be lost. My son and I kept finding little pieces that we had missed reading in the bed. You can't close them so that you have to keep the book completely upright to keep them in place, which is difficult for bedtime reading. Full disclosure, this is our first rayons book, but I don 't feel inclined to get the other ones.

Items missing
Derived From Web , Nov 25, 2019
This book is so fun and my 8 year old was so looking forward to it after seeing it at the book fair. When we opened the book, however, we received no cut from Peach crayon. I believe that there was a packing mistake made when this book was made because we received 2 pop out astronaut papers and sadly the pop out, where you can take Peach crayon on an adventure, was missing, which was kind of the whole point of the book. My excited boy had already popped out the costumes, only to find that we were missing the main character. I did not believe it at first, but then looked at the reviews posted by Peach and a Santa suit girl and it became clear that this one piece was missing from our book ( otherwise this would have been Max - stars ).
